went here to get drinks on a thursday night. looked it up on yelp and saw some of the pictures, but when i actually got there it wasnt as great as it looked. for starters, getting to observation bar is a bit of a hassle if youve never been before and you are going for the first time at night. its actually in the queen mary ship, so you have to navigate streets/freeway off ramps with multiple forks coming down the 710S to get to the queen mary. i was using apple maps so that probably didnt help. when you finally get there, there is parking very close to the ship, but it costs $15. theres validation at the bar so make sure you validate (i forgot to...). once you get to the queen marry, you have to pay another $15 to get onto the ship. you are allowed to use the $15 towards your meal/drinks though. once you go up the elevator, its on your left past a few glass windows. the bar is a bit small and the decor looks a bit cheap. i dont know if it was the lighting or something else, but it wasnt as genuinely art deco as it could have been.

Eine Nacht in einer großen Mittelkabine, sehr gediegenes Essen und danach in die Observation Bar, einfach eine Klasse für sich. Das Museum, die Geistergeschichte und die Anekdoten rund ums Schiff einfach Spannen. MUST SEEN, MUST SLEEP, MUST EAT, MUST DANCE Die Piano Bar ist sehr stilvoll und gediegen. Bei der freundlichen Bedienung fühlt man sich gleich wohl.

After paying for parking, and a $30 admission for 3 with 4 complimentary drink, s we made our way up to the observation bar which looked a bit less charming that what I had expected. Knowing that the ship in general is very old It seamed as if the might need to do a bit of upkeep and maintenance to the bar. there was no entertainment the night of our visit so it was a quiet and calm night, bartender wasnt so friendly as seemed as if he was having a bad day. either way we enjoyed ourself and had a good time with each other and enjoyed our drinks. Just wasnt aware that to be able to go in the bar you had to pay a cover charge at the entrance. They should make that more clear before arriving

Had a drink here on a quiet Monday night with some out of town guests. I love art deco design but my experience at this bar wasnt particularly special. It wasnt awful, either, and Id give it another shot. I had a martini and a beer. Service was polite but not particularly friendly -- our waitress did everything she was supposed to do but it all felt kind of insincere. It costs $15 to get in - you pay at ground level, but that $15 goes toward your bill. Its another $7 (validated) to park on top of that... so if youre not going to have more than one drink Id say its a waste of money just to see it.

We had evening drinks here while the Jennifer Keith Quartet played - what a delight and true powerful way to relive the QMs Observation Bar in its1930s and 1940s period. My wife loved the Raspberry LemonDrop martini, not so much pomegranet martini. My two drinks were great and the service was really nice - pleasant, quick to respond, but not too pushy.

Lovely place Chill atmosphere also loved that I was able to bring my dog. Drinks were decent another plus, of course! Definitely want to stop by again sometime.

We had our military ball there, and the atmosphere was awesome. That was our first time on the Queen Mary, and well be back.

With new management in place, it will cost $5 - $18 parking plus $31ea to step on the ship, before you ever order a beer.
