Large menu with plenty of sushi, sashimi and cooked dishes as well as several options for the kiddies. The service is usually prompt, polite and attentive and all the dishes and fish I have tried there have been good to excellent. I enjoy their take on the LA favorite: spicy tuna on crispy rice, the spicy tuna portion is a bit larger than most other places. I would also recommend their spicy tuna tower and their lobster roll. They use real crab (a choice between snow and king) for their sushi and sashimi, which I appreciate as many chain sushi joints tend to go with imitation. I prefer my sake cold and unfiltered and, on the downside, they only offer one option in this category but, on the upside, it happens to be my preferred brand. Discounts on bottled Kirin beers during lunch which are great to chase your sake down and complement the wasabi flavors wonderfully. I always take my kids, 1 and 4 years old as of this post, and they love the fried tofu and sesame chicken kids meals and the 4 yr old destroys tuna and octopus sashimi plates. Definitely worth checking out if you like sushi or Asain food in general.

I came in sat at the sushi bar and got the worst service ever. I ordered chicken Yakitori for I saw the kids menu for my daughter and had to flag down the server to switch it. When I asked the server he rolled his eyes and said let me go see if they already made the chicken. Then came back and told me they had already made it, its a $5 appetizer, I asked him if I could exchange it and he looked at me puzzled and said oh you want to switch it. After that I barely saw him. Had to wait almost 10 minutes to get my check. And the sushi which I told the chef from the beginning no onions on anything, came piled with onions on it every single order. Ive been to plenty of Kabukis and I was very disappointed in this one.

The food is often very good, but the service is the WORST. Not only have I been handed off to multiple wait staff on several occasions, with the person taking over having no idea what state the service was left in, but the staff does not even know the menu for the restaurant. Ive had to repeat my orders multiple times, getting glazed-over looks from staff to the point where Ive had to open the menu and point specifically to the item in question, and theyve been surprised that such a thing is on their menu. Sad state of affairs for this chain.

Great selection of delicious sushi and other Japanese foods at a decent price in a comfortable atmosphere. Kabuki strikes a good balance between a less intimidating sushi restaurant and an "authentic" sushi restaurant by being a little of both. There are traditional sushi rolls as well as new age fusion rolls. The Kabuki roll is reliably delicious treat. Their caterpillar, spider, and dragon rolls are wonderful. If you are not in the mood for sushi, I recommend the steamed pork bun during happy hour, or the udon noodles any time of day.

Overpriced with food being on the bland side. The place needs to be updated as some of the seats are worn and some of the glass and walls seem to have seen better days. What my group ordered was just ok. The prices were premium though. The server that brought out our food, handed it to us. I hate that. Place it on the table like it should be served. If I have to take possession of my plate, then its not premium. I wont be returning.

I ordered salmon sashimi and they brought me a plate of fish that was half decomposed with mold all over. Apparently their chefa are blind and dont look at the food they are putting on the plates. Then when i complained, the manager tried making me feel guilty for insisting that they not charge me for the decayed meat...not the best service, and certainly not the best quality ingredients. Dont even bother eating here

This is my favorite place to get sushi. It can be a bit expensive but of course the quality of the food is best I have tried in the area. The staff is helpful and fast. But be understandable when it gets crowded they might be a little bit with their hands full. There is a patio area with big umbrellas and of course the bar area where you can sit with the cooks My top choice for sushi

Definitely not affordable for the portions they serve. Our table had only ordered 4 rolls and we waited an hour. A whole family of six that came in after us and ordered whole dinner platters for each got their food before us. Our server didnt even come to refill our drinks. The food was good, but not worth the money, the service, or the hour long wait.

If youre looking for an affordable, delicious place for some sushi this is your spot! Always fast, prompt service. Very polite workers. Never had a bad piece of food here (and Ive been a lot). Sushi tastes fresh and great. Also centrally located in downtown Burbank. This is a favorite Burbank spot of mine and we go at least once a month!

Have been going for a decade, but only about once a year on comparison to the other sushi places across the street that we go to a few times each month. Key message here: offer better late night specials and happy hours! All of your competition does and it tastes JUST as good if not better.

We stopped here at a recommendation of a friend. This is an old school steak house right in the middle of Hollywood. The ribeye was excellent as was the French onion soup. The have daily specials, a variety of steaks, Italian dishes and salads. Most of the dishes are served aka carte.

My buddy took me here. We were looking for a cheap, light lunch. Small place, parking on site. Very good selection of hot dogs and brauts. Im a traditionalist, so I dont like a lot of stuff on my hot dog. I was able to build my own instead of picking one from their menu.

The sushi is great, the waiters are on point. And they have good drinks. This is a great place to dine, warning sometimes you need to wait a bit to be seated but I think its worth it. Tip: you can also ask to be seated in there patio which speeds things up.

Kabuki is a standard sushi place that offers good sushi at fairly reasonable prices - the prices are neither too high or low. I personally feel that this is a worthy place to come when Im far away from my favorite sushi joint as I know Ill get good fish.

Fairly run-of-the-mill sushi spot. Free edamame with every order, so take that for what its worth. The rolls are good, but I wouldnt say there anything to write home about. This is a solid place for an inexpensive lunch/dinner.

The best sushi in town!! If your a sushi lover like me, you should try this place. It is not a fancy place but the food is great. The staff were welcoming and dont forget to order your Sake .

Refused to make a Caterpillar Roll for me even though they have all the ingredients. Service was less than stellar. One server had an arrogant attitude, and the rest seemed lost in space.

Good sushi and great specialty rolls, nice and fun sushi chefs but not so great service otherwise. Just slow and unenjoyable. But everything wlse is pretty average for a chain sushi spot
