My first impression of this Chinese place in Livermore was pretty good. I liked the intro page on the menu. Afterall, if you are going to have a multipage menu anyway then why not? It really is something more resturants should consider (or having a single page menu). Also the ambience set up by the environment and the relaxing music was pleasant. With that being said the meal was alright. The soup and salad that came with my meal was a nice transistion into my main dish. The sweet and sour pork was cooked how I like it, but I ordered the fried rice and I really cant recommend it. It was good as normal rice, but as fried rice it really fails miserably. Still liked the place. Give it a go.

Im only leaving one star so people will know of my experience. .....this place sucks and the owner makes sure of it. Pork fried rice that looked like rice and pig intestine. ...ugh....it was too nasty looking to eat. The owner argued with me to pay the bill even for the food I had not received, then he called the police. I was willing to pay $20 for the cheese puffs and 1 soda but he argued with me and kept me and my young cousin hostage in the restaurant until the police came and he accepted $15....we left the waitress a $5 tip because she was cool.

Ignore lam pham - the place was full of Chinese people when I visited lunchtime a couple of weeks back. The Chinese tea is authentic, the food was great, served rapidly and in large quantity. Next time Im in Livermore, it will definitely be on my list to revisit. Especially amusing are the Vegetarian Beef, Vegetarian Chicken and Vegetarian Pork dishes - I might try one of those out.... (I have photographic evidence that these are on the menu!)

Food is excellent because the ingredients taste fresh. Even the tea they serve is different and of better variety than Chinese restaurants in the same class. Decor is OK but definitely better than most Chinese restaurants. Service is excellent when I visited, and may be excellent for others as indicated by them having a solid customer base consisting of regulars.

Steven is very nice. Hes the owner. Weve been coming here since 1997 and its so comfortable its like eating at a family gathering. Some would say the food needs updating, but theres something to say about being a consistent go to.

If it werent for the two family meals, the menu would have been too complex for anyone not to familiar with authentic Chinese food. Family meal A was more than enough for two people. Very filling and very tasty, at a decent price.

Do Not Buy From Here!, I repeat, DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I shouldve paid attention to the other bad reviews. The food here is way below subpar. They forgot my forks and my chopsticks and I had to eat my food with my fingers. WTF

I am out of town and this is my favorite restaurant. Try to stop by every time we drive through there. Chicken fried rice, chicken with vegetables and chicken chowmein are the best. Tasty ingredients. Never disappoints.

I went to the Peking Restaurant and ordered the Crispy Duck. It was very good, the order came up quick, and the wait staff were very friendly. I am from out of town and would be a regular if I lived in Livermore!

Funny, Iam Pham, every time I go to Peking Restaurant there are Asians eating lunch. My friend and I go here for special days and we get it delivered. Ive never had a problem and the service is really nice.

I ordered seafood soup unfortunately mostly spinach. The other seafood dish was more vegetables. I normally go to Mings and have delicious leftovers. Sorry will not return to Peking.

Not my favorite place in Livermore, but not bad either. Chicken chow mein was pretty plain. The moo shu veggies were good and the salt and pepper spare ribs were delicious.

Not for Chinese taste as food does not meet criteria of good food at reasonable prices. Had the tomato beef chow mein and it did not meet expectations.

The fried rice was good, but the broccoli beef and lemon chicken left much to be desired.
