Its a little funky and unassuming, but the food is phenomenal. Their Thai staples (spring rolls, pad thai, panang curry, etc) have a lot more character than most other Thai restaurants around here, and their original dishes are consistently awesome. One word of warning: they dont skip out on the spice. Their "medium" is on par with most places "hot", and you can order any dish mild, mild plus, medium, medium plus, spicy, spicy plus, or "Thai spicy". They keep minced bird chilis out as condiments, so consider ordering a little milder than usual and doctoring it yourself.

Beware that prices listed online are about $3 less than what theyll charge you (per dish!) when you go to pick it up. I brought this up to the host and I didnt get any sort of apology or offer to take money off the bill, instead his response was, "Oh yeah, the online menu is really old". So theyre aware of the issue and content with ripping people off. If thats how they want to run their business, consider me no longer a customer. Shame, because the food is really good.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Livermore! The owner has some unique Southern dishes that have a more refined flavor than the traditional favorites (red, yellow and green) but the old stand-bys are here and excellent. I recommend the pumpkin southern curry, the eggplant curry or spicy eggplant. Lunch comes with Tom Kha soup and rice. I never leave hungry!

Yeah I been eating at lanna since 2014. This place was one of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area! However, ever since then this place went down hill it seem like they changed to many chefs. I wasted 40 bucks for 3 entries which was fine when it taste good, but it taste horrible now. Asian people goes elsewhere in Livermore to eat Thai food "vasco".

The one star is for the service but the food was great. Ive been waiting for about 20 minutes to get my check and Ive had to ask twice for it now. No one came to see how we were doing, and didnt ask if we needed refills. I wish my first time here wasnt an irritating experience because I will never come here again.

Yes, I agree terrible CS, and coconut soup too spicy. But the rest of the food was pretty good, as I ordered without any red chili. The waitress was acting so strange, it made me feel uncomfortable. Ill not go there as much because of this, but when I do.. Ill just get mine to go!

Ive never had a bad dish or customer service! Love this place! The restroom is always clean, pet peeve of mine! I think Ive tried all of the curry dishes, yellow and pumpkin are my favorite. I just tried the sweet and spicy chicken, medium hot. Their dishes have so much flavor.

Green curry was delicious, just the right level of heat (be aware that if you order it spicy, it will be *very* spicy!). The chicken satay starter was also very good, although maybe very slightly undercooked (only me being picky there though). Service was prompt and friendly.

Its not awful, but they dont make it easy to order. Their website doesnt have any menus. I searched google and found a menu pdf on their domain but when I called they didnt have any of the food from that menu. Good was just okay, there is better Thai elsewhere in Livermore.

This is my usual go-to spot for Thai. The food is great and the staff are friendly (albeit sometimes slow). I recommend the tom-kha soup, especially if you like sweet and spicy food. The lettuce wraps are also amazing, as well as their selection of curries.

Pumpkin curry, basil fried rice, crispy tofu - theyve become staples in my diet. I havent tried anything I dont like. Service is good and friendly and my family and I come about once a week. The hot sauce is also amazing! Everything is superb.

We came in with a group of 8 and got lots of different things, and they were all very good (Southern Thai Curry, Hot & Spicy, Roti w/curry sauce, Fried Rice, Chow Mein). Definately recommend. Their "medium spicy" was pretty mild to me.

A bit of a hidden gem close to the freeway. They offer an excellent selection of delicious Thai food with a nice lunch special. They filled my Roti fix that no one else could and their curries are sure to please!
