The hot and sour soup was very good. The poopoo platter was sub par, bland nothing to write home about. Then we get to the main course the crispy beef, which is one of their chief specialties so you would expect it to be amazing! However it was the worst crispy beef dish I have ever had. The beef was almost non-existent it was all breading, it wasnt crispy at all, and was extremely bland the sauce was to thin and we had to spoon it over the dish, it tasted the same as when there was no sauce of the dish. Perhaps they had an off night or I picked a bad dish, but when its one of their signature dishes youd think it would be great. Overall 2 stars just because the hot and sour soup was good. I will never order from them again. I suggest you look elsewhere. On a side note they were very friendly and quick delivery, which is nice, but overall the food is whats important....

This is for delivery only. And never order from these people. I called up, placed my order and was told that it would be 45 minutes. It took a little under 90. When I got my food, it was cold and the delivery driver left without offering me any change. When I got inside, my food was cold and the order was wrong. I called up and was told the only way I could get a refund would be to drive all the way down there and back. And I had better have a "complete" order. I did this. When I got there, the woman made me wait again to get my money back and then she very closely examined all the food to make sure I hadnt dared to eat anything to make up for the 45 minute drive there and back through traffic. I got my money back and then the driver was very threatening and said I had better not say he stole from me.

Bad food, worse service They were obviously busy when I called in my order, but thats not an excuse for being rude on the phone, which they were both times I called. The person on the phone rushed off the phone - food that arrived was not the correct dishes. As I am not a picky eater I was going to go with it, but all food that did arrive was bland, inconsistently cooked (cold in some areas, warm in others). When I called back to explain that I didnt have the right food, at first the person explained that I did have the right food. When I described what I had she admitted "oh it looks like the kitchen made the wrong thing." When I asked if they would send the right food she simple stated "No - we are very busy."

Dont go here. Bad attitude waitress. Either cant understand English or doesnt care about pleasing customers. Brought wrong food to table. When we told her she got really angry. Instead of admitting she made a mistake she tried to make us eat it anyway or she would charge us more to reorder. We ended up walking out. We also wonder if the meat is really beef & is the chicken really chicken, ? Dont trust these people. Selfish & greedy.

The delivery was an hour late. The food was cold. The driver told me he got lost. I ordered 3 dishes, and didnt receive any rice to go with it. What kind of asian restaurant doesnt give you rice with the meals? When I called to check up on my delivery, the owner was so rude and talked over me while I tried to cancel my order without trying to be apologetic at all. This place sucks!! Id give it a negative star if I could!!

This place has to be one of the worst chinese restaurants. The soy sauce taste terrible. We were 4 families eating here and we each ordered some orange chicken with the same rice. They gave us a small bowl of rice saying it was enough for everyone when it clearly says each person gets their own plate of rice but they give you a small bowl. We arent stupid. This place is small.

Worst Chinese food ever! Orange Chicken was soggy and not spicy at all. Mongolian Beef was terrible and bland. The House Fried Rice had no flavor. Ordered delivery and food arrived in about 20 minutes which was great until I realized that the food seemed like it had been cooked long ago. I dont know how this place stays in business in La Jolla...

I used to order delivery from this place for lunch all the time, the food isnt the best in la jolla for Chinese by any means but the service is quick and efficient and for local deliveries they usually have it to you in a matter of minutes. I recommend the lunch special which comes with a dr pepper!

I have been coming here for a little over a year now and it has never impressed me. I simply use it as a cheap lunch option if I am sick of all my regular spots. I wish this place was better, everything tastes boring and bland, its like the people cooking it just dont care.

Horrible food. Chop suey tasted like detergent! Used to be good in the old days, but unfortunately has really slipped. Too bad because La Jolla really needs a decent chinese restaurant, but this is not it. Avoid if you can and go to Convoy St instead.

The staff knows us, even though we only go twice a year. Their food is amazing, they are attentive to us and our kids, and we would go more often if the traffic didnt suck right there.

The meat and vegetables tasted and smelled rotten. The chicken was all dark meat and mushy with huge cartilage-infused chunks. Just all-together very messy, and disgusting.

No wonder they deliver. Their food is so terrible they wouldnt make any money if they didnt deliver! Horrible fatty chicken. Dry, flavorless disgusting rice. Yuck!
