I’m a little old fashion when it comes to burgers because this is one of the few exception where I generally don’t enjoy truffles or foie gras muddling my little piece of America. I’m also very bitter about the fact that most people will ignore the quality of the bun while I consider it to be just as important as the patty! If I’m ranting and raving, I want to add that any burger that’s too large to fit into your mouth is ridiculous! The grass fed beef is tender, perfectly grilled outside while still pink inside. The patty is sandwiched between a fluffy and delicious bun, which is made up of a blend of organic whole wheat and organic white flour. All the cheese options are organic and the greens are always fresh and crisp. The most wonderful thing about this place is their house made sauces. They offer ranch, thousand island, and BBQ, and all of them are delicious! The ranch isn’t too heavy while still rich, the thousand island is tangy and creamy, and the BBQ has bright and sweet notes to compliment the tart. This is the Holy Grail people! Unfortunately for me, Burger Lounge is currently only available in San Diego and the LA area.

This is bar-none the best burger joint in town Ive tried out so far. The quality is also consistent across their locations in San Diego. I can vouch for the Coronado, and Kensington BLs as well They all have delicious and tasty grass-fed burgers that really hit the spot. You can even order your burger rare, which is kind of nice. I usually get the lounge burger and fries(which are by the way excellent). Customer service is friendly and enthusiastic. The corner location of the LaJolla Burger Lounge is also ideal and perfect for some people watching. Im never disappointed when I leave here.

Great burgers. Grass-fed beef. Beefy patty, toasted bun, nice amount of fixings, beef-to-bun ratio excellent. Definitely need to take Dad here some time. Marilyn said their onion rings were the best shes had in her life. Chocolate shake is delicious, I always get one. =9 Seating can be problematic. Earlier is better than later. The first time I came I think it was around 11a and it was okay, we sat at the counter. This time, we came at 2, and it was still really crowded, and when we left at 3 it was still crowded.

Everything about this place was fantastic. Truly 5 stars. We stayed at a local hotel and the smell enticed us to check it out for lunch that day. The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful, with recommendations and service. The food was fantastic, its insane to see how real food is supposed to taste, be it the onion rings, cheeseburgers, fries or soda, the organic/crafted nature of the food is awesome. By the way, please open a location in East Valley, AZ, I would be there every week.

I love this place! The burgers are great - juicy, fresh, and high quality toppings. Also, I highly recommend getting the onion ring and fry combo - its probably too much for one person, but great to share. Their ranch and BBQ sauces are both excellent also. The service here is top-notch. Everybody is so friendly, and they are quick to get you whatever you need - even drink refills from the self-serve drink machine. It can be a bit tough to find a seat when its busy, but its worth it!

People listen this place is HORRIBLE. Out of all the places Ive ever eaten at, this was the most foul/horrible place. First off the service is slow, and the cooks and waiters dont use gloves so when theyre cooking/serving your food who knows what theyve been touching. Secondly the place is two crowed. Also, they messed my order up which ticked me off. Finally, I wouldnt even give this place a star but I would give them 5 stars for serving garbage.

This place has been great every time Ive gone. Its fresh, service is awesome, and you never leave hungry or unsatisfied. I dont know why people are complaining about the prices...Its a full, fresh, good quality meal, which at any restaurant would be 10 bucks minimum. So yes, its not as cheap as your typical burger joint, but its not your typical burger joint. Be prepared to pay regular restaurant prices. Totally worth it though!

Delicious! Theres isnt a ton of seating so if your a huge party of over 15 you should probably go somewhere else. This is an awesome combo of traditional counter ordering with food delivery at your table. The waitresses were awesome! They were always on top of tables asking if we needed napkins or sauce. The food was delicious as well! Gourmet burgers with a simple menu that was exceptionally delicious!!

A nice little burger. My son had beef, with bacon and cheddar -- good, fairly juicy. I had the lamb burger; somehow didnt taste all that lamby. The fries were quite good -- nicely seasoned and crisp. The onion rings were crisp, but I prefer thicker cut rings, so you taste the onion, not just the batter. Seating: the chairs outside are so short you think youre in kindergarten.

We were hanging out at LA Jolla beach for the day and saw the great reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. All I can say is, move to AZ! The food and service are both great. I love how you offer the same menu items with gluten free buns as our daughter is alergic to gluten. Next time we come to CA, well visit again and tell our friends about this jewel.

I love, love, love the Burger lounge. I went there recently when I was in La Jolla on a vacation with my family. What I really like about the Burger Lounge is that they use high quality ingredients like grass fed beef. They have extremely tasty fries and a great selection of craft sodas. I highly recommend the burger lounge.

This place has a good burger but the prices are a rip off. Me and my buddy went here and had a basic cheese burger and order of fries and two sodas and it was like $22. That is just rediculous. I know it is in La JOlla but come on guys. Bring the menu back down to earth and you will earn another 2 stars.

They, were not crowded. And, they were fast. I, ordered the Cod sandwich. The, order was about 12 mins. And, it was Great! At, $9.95 it better be. Oh, warning! They, DO COOK THEIR BEEF MEDIUM RARE UNLESS OTHERWISE ORDERED!! I, have to eat mine With No PINK or Bleeding, Thank You. I, am not a WereWolf!

Saw the reviews so I had to see for myself. Lounge burger was fantastic. Bun is locally made and very good. Fries were great. I especially like the soda fountain choice that is not the norm. In-house ranch is also very good. I like a tasty burger and this is a very good example.

Awesome food, all of it made very well. Grass feed meat, quinoa burgers, fish burgers, awesome french fries and onion rings, and delicious milkshakes. The toppings compliment the meat. The wait staff made it a five star experience. Very friendly and and professional service.

Great tasting burgers, fried, and onion rings. They also have an independent drink fountain with cane sugar cola and ginger beer. Their seating area is tiny and you may have a tough time finding somewhere to sit with your group. The food was very good though
