My new favorite secret spot. You wouldnt expect to find REALLY good authentic Mexican food in La Crescenta. It just doesnt happen! Until Los Padilla came to town. The tacos are as good as it gets around here. Hand made tortillas, street tacos or the more refined Guisados variety (Taco de Alambre and Taco de Pescado are my favorites). The quesadilla is like nothing I have ever tried before. Highly recommended. The menu is great, but the people who work there? They are just awesome! You feel like you are going to your abuelitas house! I love this place so much that I celebrated my birthday with them! ❤

Wow good, very good. I ordered two carne asada tacos and an al pastor. The meat were tender, juicy and flavorful. Ordered my food to go and they packed it nice with sautéed onions and raw onions on the side (sautéed was perfect), lime and salsa. The salsa was tasty, but I enjoy clumpy salsa. I know, it sounds weird, but watery salsa just runs all over the place. Overall, I say the tacos are 4.5 rating! Enjoyable and a nice change in La Crescenta area.

I eat here a few times a week and Im never disappointed. It always starts off with a welcoming smile from the staff and ends with one happy stomach. Mine. I am grateful to have this truly authentic jewel in my area. This family knows what their doing when it comes to Mexican food! And they care about their guests. Again, thank you!

Dont even get me started on their salsa. The red is actually spicy with such a unique flavor, and the green avocado salsa is the perfect consistency adding great flavor to anything you want. They are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Great tasting food at a fair price. Trust a Latino.

Homemade tortillas with vegan and vegitarian food options. Family owned, Los Padillas is my first stop for authentic mexican food. I hope they expand in the future. I ordered the Calabacitas tacos with homemade tortillas, squash, tomatoes, corn, onion, beans and cheese.

Thank goodness for Los Padilla! Ive been patiently waiting for them to open, and It was well worth the wait. Everything on the menu is AWESOME! To top it off the staff is friendly and welcoming. I cant ask for anything more.

I must say this is by far the only Mexican food thats authentic in this area! My favorite are the chicken mole tacos with fresh handmade tortillas taste just like grandmas cooking back in Mexico City. Arriba mi raza!
