I never thought I would recommend Mexican food off the Pacific Coast Highway in sleepy Town Half Moon Bay USA but here I am giving it a recommend to anyone tired of cooking barbecue and filleting fish at the campground and could do well with a little chorizo down their throat and a smile. Want to see laser classes 2 this joint is there salsa bar and Chip fixing station. I like to bake how good Mexican food is based almost entirely off of what kind of salsa and chips Dixon Penn Station they will have available to me and available it will be made when I put it to the test. What I am talking about is, will they limit a person on how much condiments and Chip fixing that person might want to do before they are satisfied. Normally this is done passively aggressive with little confrontation other then if they are seen bogarting any extra cups in the back until the threat (you) are gone. It is utterly pointless and to be expected to be talked to in the native tounge of their country known as Mexican or spanish you could say. Top that off with a dialect unique to that very eatery and its not worth you time.. Thats why I warned you can so you can enjoy me and infinite bowls of chips and bottomless awesome homemade dip. This was not one of the Mad, stingy and shouldnt be running a kitchen past a refrigerator and

Ive eaten here twice. I honestly cant remember anything about my first time, as it was a few years ago, but more recently I revisited Tres Amigos and I fell in love with their carne asada fajita burrito. The peppers, onions, Spanish rice, and beef were all tasty despite the dishs simplicity. The salsa station is fresh and delicious (come back for chips as many times as youd like!) Nice, casual atmosphere makes this a good lunch or dinner spot. I think its fairly popular... Quite a few people got takeout orders when I was there. Love that they support all kinds of mobile pay services: Apple/Android/Samsung play included. Nice, friendly service. Well-deserving of all the awards Tres Amigos hangs on its walls. Will definitely return the next time Im in town...

Solid four stars! I only know of two taquerias on the coast side that are good food and this is one. Consistently great comfort food. Service is spotty at best so come with low expectations in that area and youll be fine. Prices are geared towards the Gringo but the quality is worth it. Mexican/Americans eat hear so it must be good! Not sure why people say its gone down hill. I was here when they opened unteen years ago. Salsa bar still rocks. HIDDEN FACT Restaurant has a industrial juice extractor. Order the fresh squeezed orange /carrot (combined is great) juice for a delicious and healthy drink.

Love their burritos and tacos. They stack quite a bit of meat and toppings on those small corn tortillas. The beans are done well, giving a good base for their burritos. It is a stand-in-line to order kind of place, so dont expect anything too fancy. There is a self-serve chips and salsa bar. The salsa is very good, but the chips are just so-so. A little to think and cold for my liking.

Casual dining and take out… Small patio in front dog friendly. Nice place good service… $11 a little steep for the shrimp burrito but it is pretty good… And you can get it with various tortillas like spinach and chipotle… I had the chipotle tortilla on the shrimp burrito and it was excellent… Definitely did not scrimp on the shrimp it was loaded and rice and beans tasted good too

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Awesome fish tacos (grilled not fried) and chile rellenos. Very friendly staff and seems to be open on alot of holidays. Very casual, very popular, sometimes a line to order, but they get to you quickly. A little noisy sometimes (I dont mind), and they also have a t.v. high in the corner with soccer games on.

This place is American Mexican food. Not Mexican Mexican food. Horchata is watery. Carnitas are hard and over cooked. All salsa is more spicy than flavorful. Tacos are not that good. No salsa inside the burritos. Chips over cooked. Okay for a one time last resort place but not good enough to come back

If you can hang on a little longer the Tres Amigos in Pescadero is much better. Especially if you dont eat meat. I just spent $7 on a tortilla full of sour cream and salsa with a sprinkle of beans and a few strands of lettuce a pinch of cheese and a sprinkle of rice floating in it. I couldnt eat it.

Ive tried AlPastor in over a dozen places throughout California. Ive traveled hundreds of miles, just on a rumor of place such as this. Outstanding food, prices are right in line with what youd expect. Salsa is very good, come early; place fills up quick for lunch and weekends.

Five stars for what it is. Its not a fancy restaurant, not sus it have a view. In fact, its a very casual, clean, almost fast food Mexican.restaurant with very good, reasonably priced food, aguas frescas, and beer. On Hwy 1, tends ti get crowded during weekends.

The best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is delicious, the service is fast, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the do carry out. Believe me, its worth the visit. Ate there every day while I stayed a couple days at a nearby inn.

Had quite the wait to order on a Sunday afternoon. The carne asada burrito was just alright. Im used to a more flavorful carne asada. The burrito was falling apart by the end due to too much liquid from the beans or meat. The salsa bar was good though.

Probably the most hyped restaurant in terms of reviews for no reason. Family and I went. The tacos were terrible, salsa was not good, and chips tasted stale. Apparently many people like it because it was packed when we went, but I do not see why.

I lived on Tacos Acapulco/Tio Albertos burritos in San Luis Obispo during college and the Tres Amigos burritos are excellent! I especially like the pickled carrots and peppers and the salsas are ALL excellent. Great meal for under $10.

Good atmosphere. Horrible parking especially when packed during lunch. 4 stars for service and food. The green salsa was AMAZING! chimichangas could be better, seems more wet than normal. Meat was delicious though. Recommended

Good (though not "great") food, very affordable, fast service. A good option when you are hungry, need something quick, and/or are on a lower budget but still like to go out or get take out for dinner.

Delicious! I grew up eating at this place. After moving away and visiting after 8 years, the food is still to die for. I was so excited to bring back my husband and 4 kids to experience it with me!

Food is not amazing but it is good. This place was clean but very loud and felt a little like fast food. I wouldnt mind eating here again but it is not a favorite I have to revisit any time soon.
