Amazing horchata! The hot salsa that came with the chips was delicious, the mild was good too. Convenient to the highway. Great atmosphere, service is friendly and competent. Decor is a little over the top (lots of piñatas, etc) but in a fun way. Vegetarian flauta was very good, fish taco had good flavor and a nice corn salsa but the fish was a little chewy/overcooked. Chicken grande burrito was big and flavorful.

First time wasnt so good, second time was worse. The food, not so good at all! I ordered the Chili Colorado dish, which is everywhere else Ive been, soft, like easy to shred, but this was hard like strips of overcooked steak. My friend ordered a Chicken Quesadilla but lost her appetite when she found a foreign piece of fat, did not look at all like chicken fat. I will never eat here again.

We were looking for a good Mexican restaurant and I always look for lots of cars or people. There were no cars and not many people. We decided to try it anyway. Great choice!! I had a side salad (very fresh) with the tortilla soup. Fabulous! Authentic! My husband had a taco salad and enjoyed it as well. We visit Half Moon Bay a couple of times a year and will most definitely be back.

They had terrible customer service from the beginning and they were very rude when I asked them to simply explain the menu to me. They didnt know I could understand Spanish so they said hateful things about me and my friends in Spanish. We did nothing to offend them in any way yet they were extremely rude to us. Would not recommend at all.

My beef burrito from Spanishtown Mexican restaurant was bad. Soggy tortilla, bland meat, flavorless beans, watery salsa. Plus the useless salad included alongside was, at best, a distraction from the abysmal main event. The chips were good. Service was good, too. The price was 25% too high, especially for a terribly disappointing meal.

I came across this restaurant on a road trip with friends when I was 18. Ive visited back a few times and its always so damn good. Their horchata seems homemade and its delicious. The chimichangas are amazing. And i love their thorough vegan/vegetarian list of food. Its just a cozy place and the waitresses are really hospitable.

The good: Server was kind. The restaurant accepted credit cards. Food was hot. Chips were not stale. The bad: Guacamole tasted well past its prime. Ordered cheese con queso - Tasted like lumpy, melted cheddar cheese. Daughter ordered grilled cheese, took one bite and was not going to eat another. Time of day: 6pm on a Friday.

We have been going to this restaurant over 20 years the food and service is very reliable and the kitchen is very fast. Plus they provide good amount of food. I visit Baja California and and found that there food is very similar to this one.

We had awesome food and awesome service, but the margaritas were overpriced for their size ($8), not the greatest flavor (lime was OK, strawberry tasted like the fake mix you can buy), and in the wrong type of glass (wine glasses).

Salsa is fabulous!! Service great and one of the sweetness decor representing Mexico that I have seen in years, and the music very authentic as well. I had enchiladas and they were very good, but the Salsa.. yummm

They have the best mexican food and the greatest atmosphere. The servers are very friendly. Perfect location right down by the Church. Very affordable for the single parent and or a nice night out for two.

Great service, that salad the other guy complained about was a tasteful way to start my meal. Loved the tortillas, chili verde, and the rice was the best ever! Love it! Plus chocolate mousse cake!
