I enjoy this place. I dont consider it the best Thai restaurant but its a solid choice, especially when you want to stay in the neighborhood. Their kid friendly and the kids meal is a good value. The food is decent and they cocktail menu is interesting. This latest time I got the seafood saute in young coconut and a Thai-jito. Both were tasty. The seafood saute has lots of good seafood meat with fresh veggies. Everything was prepared nicely though I did feel it was a little heavy on the sauce. You can mostly avoid that. Its presentation has a bit of wow factor that will make your friends as well as other tables turn the heads to wonder what does THAT person have. I enjoyed my cocktail but I did wish there was more of a fresh ginger flavor. Service was great, especially since we were a large-ish group that included 5 kids. I should probably say the service was patient and understanding. LOL. Will definitely be back.

Very flavorful curry, very friendly staff. While I was only in for takeout, I was still able to appreciate the interior of the restaurant. Everything appeared to be clean and well kept, and the decorations and lighting where well done. The staff were all incredibly while I was waiting for my order, each staff member that passed made sure I had been helped and offered different things to make sure I was comfortable. I was very happy with the service all around. The food itself was great too. The rice I ordered was soft but not overcooked and prepared perfectly to compliment the main dish. My choice of entre was the yellow curry, which is standard for me when checking out new Thai restaurants. This yellow curry, while not mind blowing, was still a step above most others that I have had elsewhere. If you are looking for some tasty Thai food, this place is rated well for a reason and you likely will not be disappointed.

Tasty Thai cuisine in a slick modern interior. A little on the expensive/upscale side but the food is definitely worth it. Really like their asparagus chicken with oyster sauce as well as all their curry dishes. Any Thai restaurant can be measured by how well they do their pad thai. Coconut Bay passes with flying colors. The only area for improvement is the speed of service. When they get busy they can be quite slow in getting their dishes out. Update: On the last point, their service during hours is really inefficient, bordering terrible. Knocking one star off from my most recent visit.

our daughter loves eating at this place and is always there couple or more times every month. last week, she brought some left-overs and as i was eating the pad thai from their box, i bit into a very hard steely thing and when i looked at it, it was a metal w/c probably the waiter or waitress who transferred the left over pad thai into that box accidentally dropped that thing there w/out knowing it. good thing it was not that small or i would have swallowed it. BE very careful and just be the one to ask for boxes and put the left overs yourself.

ordered beef w/garlic sauce. horribly salty`salty salty w/ a small portion. asked if recook. what they did was just put veggies and reduced my beef. they did NOT recook. just played ridiculously. they werent like this before but now its just a bad place. however if u still want a nice interior but dont care food, it is still okay.

Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and friendly staff, what more could you want? We had dinner here before heading out to a show. The service was perfect. We didnt have to wait too long for anything and had a wonderful meal before we had to go.

Better than your neighborhood Thai restaurant! Food is amazing. I love they have a good beer selection on tap. Service can be somewhat sluggish, but its a big enough place that at least youre seated and not waiting to get seated.

Ive been going here since the early 2000s when they were previously up the street. Solid food, great lunch specials, fun bar, and perfect for groups; I hosted several parties here. Owners are the best.
