I love Azteca - just not this one. So I got crazy and tried the Pollo Fundito last night for the first time. Usually when the food arrives there is a slight adrenaline spike as our eyes and ears taking it all in, but this time my nose got in on the act first and I had to ask "Whats that smell?" It was a cloying, rotten odor. I didnt immediately make the connection until I looked down and saw....Kraft Singles melted on top of three small mounds! Wow! Upscale! Still, Kraft Singles have their place (on grilled cheese) so I gave it a delicate bite....and endured a leather strip (tortilla?) surrounded by something the consistency of pudding at nuclear temperatures. No thank you. I ate the beans and the rice and told the waitress how grossed out I was but she didnt take it off my bill. Maybe she thought I wasnt serious because I was laughing so hard? I mean...were they kidding me with this? Should I have specified the menu for HUMAN food? I always order heavy and take half home for the next day, but it stunk so bad I didnt want it in my car and dont hate my roommates enough to bring it home. Plus I wasnt going to go near it again, ever. When I could still smell that bizarre disgusting odor in my hair today I called the owner, Felippe. I honestly just wanted to shame him into taking that dreck off the menu, but when he gave me attitude and told me it was too late to refund me as I waited a day - and that everyone else LOVES that dish - I decided a refund was due. He finally agreed to comp my next dinner as I am in there at least once a week, but seriously? Hell comp it with what? Peanut butter and jelly? No thanks. So! This is how they treat their regulars at this location! Please, visit ANY OTHER AZTECA! I think I will start frequenting Alderwood, I see that one recommended here. FYI Vira (sp?) is the best waitress i have ever had at any establishment anywhere. What a waste. MOVE UP, Girl!

I like Azteca. But not this one I guess. Water logged Tuesday night tacos, they charged $1 more "PER" taco because I wanted chicken and not beef ?? Either way the plate was full of water juice causing taco shell to be soggy. Pre diced bagged bought tomatoes, bagged bought shredded lettuce, pre shredded bagged bought cheddar ! Not what a "Mexican" restaurant should be buying ! Do your own ! I cant believe that Jack And The Box has better tacos, not to mention so does the Azteca at Alderwood. I told the manager up front about the water logged tacos nicely, and he stated "next time just ask them to drain the meat first". Sorry, after you telling "ME" that I needed to tell them that and not you telling them, ...no next time. I called the manager the next day and they said he was not there. Funny, he called me back 7 minutes later from the same number according to caller ID. Also, drink menus on table coated with dry food finger prints, unsanitary. Wipe um down every now and then ! I wont even start about what turned out to be $8 drinks. My bill was $52 on a $5 all you can eat taco night, we each had 2 drinks and we each had 4 disgusting tacos, and a small side of sour cream for the price of a whole tub at the store. For $52 dollars I want good tacos, $6 drinks, and no smart *** answer from the night manager. Go to Applebees and get 2 for $20 or go to Alderwood or Everett mall Azteca

We used to go often, hadnt been for awhile but wont be going back after tonite. My fish tacos were burned to a crisp, really charred. I returned them and the second round was no better - undercooked this time. There was a very noisy large group near us which we had to shout over at times to hear each other. Our server was very polite but slow to show up. I have never left a restaurant in the middle of a meal! But I did this time, graciously as I could without being a jerk...

This is the best Azteca Restaurant that I have been to, hands down. We have two other Azteca that are closer to our house but this place is worth the drive. Every time we go here we are seated quickly and they have our drinks and appetizers on the table very quickly. The food is always fresh, out to the table quickly and delicious. The staff is always happy and every server loves to talk with us and play with our 1 1/2 year old daughter.

Our family loves Azteca! We visit this location about once every other month. The food and service are always surprisingly good. It always amazes me how quickly our food arrives...fast, hot and delicious! If I had one complaint, it would be that the deodorizers in the bathrooms are turned too high...stinky!

What happened here? The sevice was good, but the prices have gone up substantially. I guess they have to pay for the fancy menues and those star lights in the bar. Food was very disappointing. The only thing that is consistent is the inconsistency of the food. I used to go here often, but now not so much.

I can always count on Azteca to have cold beer, good tequila and my favorite to Still soup. The Mountlake Terrace location is great and their staff always wear smiles.i also go to the Mill Creek location, that location never seems to have enough staff so service is a little slower but still friendly.

I ordered a fajita burrito but was given a veggie burrito instead. The waitress argued with me for a second about my order but then it was promptly replaced with the correct order. The food itself was good though. Has a nice fresh taste. Served steaming hot. For this reason 3/5.

Been going here since I was little, now I am taking my mom there occasionally. Cookie cutter Mexican restaurant, great food, attentive staff and cool decorations to look at in the main dining area. Also right off the freeway so great for a close stop if passing through on a trip.

Decent chain restaurant. You get what you pay for. Its not authentic, and the food is average, but you can certainly do a lot worse. Its good for large groups or if you need to pick up a lot of food for an office party.

This is the Azteca that started my taste memories for what is Mexican food. Even compared to other Aztecas, this one tastes better and feels "right". Other people with boarderline OCD will know what I mean!

Great food! Great service. We were a bi-lingual group and the server was extremely fluent in both languages and gave fun, attention to the child of the group. It was a great experience. We had fun.

The asada plate is off the chain tender and moist to perfection, with perfectly not over fried beans and not too dry spanish rice with a grilled scallions and tortillas game over ,,,
