Mostly I give myself the 2 stars for over indulgence. Yes there is a lot of choices here and some are very good for you. But all the things you should avoid are displayed in bulk fresh and hot. By the looks of my fellow patrons we should not be here. I dont think people in Africa or India would understand what they would see here happening. Its like cattle rushing to feed troughs. The sad thing was I caught myself in the herd also. O well. Lesson learned today and hopefully shared to others in time. One more thing...staff very friendly and efficient. Tables are quickly cleaned removing all the evidence of my edible sins.

It is still the only sweet tomatoes in Fresno. There was one across town that closed after a lease was up. So now this one is always crowded and some of the same staff of the old location remain almost 6-7 years after they closed. That said, its busy during most hours, however staff do a great job of cleaning and keeping the restaurant clean. For as much as my family goes, its fairly well kept and they do a good job of keeping malfunctions to a minimal. Food is always fresh and replenished. In comparison to other locations in northern California, this one is top notch, of course in comparison.

The salad bar is good but its just that a salad bar. Theres broccoli salad is delicious they have a pasta tuna salad, peas onions kidney beans olives to choose from to dress your salad and several types of salad dressings to choose from as well. The soup station is ok baked potato station is good they have muffins like blueberry muffins and then a small dessert section but there is a section with fruit as well. The atmosphere is a large cafeteria its not that appealing but on a hot summer day its good to just run in there and have a nice salad.

Not bad for the price (currently $12.89 after tax). Salad: good choices, fresh, lots of goodies and toppings/dressings. Soups: Not bad for soups that sit out all day. Pasta/Bread: ok. Not my fav. Desserts: sugar-free mousse tastes gross. But unlimited soft serve. Some fruit. Muffins and brownies ok. Drinks: ok selection, but $3+tax a bit pricey. Overall: we keep returning despite some level of dissatisfaction. In economic terms, we like the speed of eating out, and there isnt really any alternative all-you-can-eat healthy salad bar.

Im only giving the restaurant 2 stars because of the parking situation. It is located in an area that has multiple medical facilities using the same parking lot. I complained about a white Mercedes C-series, that was parked across two parking spaces. Not by accident, as if the entire world revolves around that person. I am informed that white Mercedes belongs to the manager!!!!?????!!!!!? WHAT? In a place that has NO parking you will take up two spots! Shame!

Awesome Variety For Salad Lovers! Although our visit was among a crowd of others hungry for soup & salad we were seated immediately for buffet style dinning. My family, lovers of salads and veggies, found a seemingly endless selection of food items. Salad is good, but I include meat protein to my diet. Non was found in the buffet line, though I still enjoyed my visit!

This is our go-to restaurant. You cant beat the price for healthy all you can eat. Huge salad bar of fresh veggies. Prepared salads have too much dressing for me (broccoli madness has gotten too slimy). Soups are always good, but cream of mushroom and rosemary potato heavenly. breads and muffins are always delicious. Join their club for great coupons.

This is a great place to feed a big amount of people. Its has a huge salad bar and warm hot items like baked potato, tons of bread options and soup. It even has ice cream and desert bar. If your unsure where to eat because no one will make up theyre mind OR you want to satisfy a group with something everyone will like then choose Sweet Tomatoes.

Love this place!!You can get either a salad or complete meal which includes soup,bakery anna desert along with your drink or coffee.Place gets very busy.Huge dining area wirh lots of tables anna booths to sit at.Its a help yourself salad bar with all of the traditional toppings including dressings.You pay at the end of the line.

I have enjoyed eating here with family since I was little, and we always seem to bump into someone I know there. My only problem is that its always way too crowded, and they havent accommodated for their customers by making walkways more spacious. Its hard to move around, which is dangerous when carrying plates of food around.

I went with a group of 8 on a Saturday night, and it was busy but we were still able to get a table. The mushroom soup was good. Dont miss out on the brownies or on the focaccia bread! The waiters were good too, they promptly removed our plates as we were finished with our plates.

Everything was fresh and clean, even though it was SUPER busy. The cashier saved us money, as the total for three persons was $47.06 and if we did the promo gift card for $50, we could use the card right then, AND got a free meal for one our next visit! AWESOME!!

Went there Saturday and got there before they open and had a 3 year old with us and he had to use the restroom and we ask if he could use it the manager open the door with a bad attitude and when they open we got bad service and attitude will never go there again

I love that this place has vegan and vegetarian options marked! I love to have lunch here but you should definitely avoid busy times! The salad bar line gets held up by people having to wait for a seat to open up. Sundays are packed. The food is usually good.

A family favorite buffet-style salad & soup bar with friendly staff. Great soup selection with seasonal choices on rotation. Freshly made pasta dishes and freshly baked bread varieties. Try the strawberry lemonade! Dont forget the soft-serve ice cream.

So many dirty dishes! It took six tries to get 2 kind of clean-looking glasses. Soup bowls were just as bad. Food residue was present on every other one. Employee problem or dishwasher problem -- who knows. Health problem -- probably,,,,,

I love this place its clean and its a dieters paradise. The only thing is when my phone is on WIFI my protection indicates the WIFI here is dirty. So I had to turn off my WIFI and go with my cell phone network.
