Me & my family went on Thanksgiving for lunch & we were very disappointed. We paid more then what was stated on the board behind the service desk where you pay. The ham was very cold & the guy cutting it didnt seem to care how he cut & served people. The dessert area was empty, food was coming out very slow, salad bar was out of ranch dressing & a few other things. We also noticed that the new food & dessert items that were being offered to the menu on TV was not being offered here at all! We were hopping to go back for Christmas lunch again but after this Im not sure we will be going again any time soon. If the new CEO really cared hed look into the problems at this location & if all the problems are fixed, Id be more then happy to bring my whole family back again but until then we will be eating else were.

I HAVE BEEN COMING TO HOMETOWN BUFFET FOR YEARS, I LIVE OUT OF STATE BUT COME OFFTEN, BECAUSE MY MOTHER IS IN NURSING HOME AND I COME TO VISIT HER. OVER THE YEARS THE PRICE HAS WENT UP AND UP, TODAY I WENT IN AND THE PRICE HAS RAISED AGAIN, LUNCH 8.69 AND THE DRINK, WAS 2.49. THERE IS NOW WAY A PERSON CAN EAT AND DRINK 11.18 OF FOOD AND DRINK FOR LUNCH THE FOOD HAS CHANGED IT WAS TERRIBLE, COULD NOT EAT THE FRIED CHICKEN, THE CENTERS WERE BLACK. ALL THIGHTS AND LEGS, THEY HAVE CUT THE SIZE OF THE TABLES DOWN AND INCREASED THE PRICES. SO IT WILL BE MY LAST TRIP TO HOMETOWN BUFFET. AS I WALKED OUT, AT APPROX 12.00 , I COUNTED 26 PEOPLE EATING LUNCH. SO I GUESS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WASY. NASTY, NASTY

As the cashier, Melissa, greeted my wife and I, I ask about the seniors discount, she noticed I was wearing my Vietnam Veterans ball cap, she told me the veterans discount was better than the seniors discount, and thats what she charged me. The food was excellent, and had it not been for the advertisement running on TV now, I would have missed out on an excellent meal. The different stations were kept fresh and full. There was no waiting are confusion. This accolade is from some one who has supped all across the country, and did not in the past do "buffets", Ill be going back here. The cook who did the Corn Chowder is being under paid.

My Family and I always look Outlook for Home Town Buffets, we like the Salad bar and Chicken. This Is My Second Time to this One on Mooney, and the Employees are so much in need of training, theyre to laud when talking with the customers and they Leen all over customers food when going for the recite, and dirty dishes, This Time They where talking laud with this guy that had a very dirty long T shirt, he was using foul language, and they would be cracking up. Please look into this. Made me sick to my stomach

I worked here before the management sucks here. Craig cussed at me in front of customers for politely asking for help I was the only dishwasher on a busy day, it was embarrassing. Then I tried to get a hold of the district manager Ray but good luck never got a hold of him left him like 5 voicemails with no response. Yeah this place sucks dishmachine dont even work its way below the temperature it should be health department should close this down. I hope no one ever gets sick eating here (beware)!!!!!

My family and I chose to eat at this family filled buffet and it was great, the franchise has expanded there selection of beverages, desserts, and a variety of food selections that everyone would enjoy, we picked the best place to have dinner to fill my loved ones tummies and leave satisfied and happy. Thank you hometown buffet you really brought the home into your buffet and whatever decisions you have made to make this place better and better your hitting it right on the money.

Dinner is better. Look for meatloaf Mac N cheese popcorn shrimp and carrot cake and French fries. Chicken is so so. Nothing is terrible, they do a good job trying to keep the restaurant clean, I know its very difficult at a buffet especially with all the crazy kids running around. Look at your plate before you use it, sometimes you will see food on it.

I just left home town buffet there drinking section was a mess the only thing they had to drink was coke diet drink. There was ice all over drink machine the floor was sticky nobody even trying to clean it up. Restroom were a mess very dirty. Couldnt even enjoy eating the place was a mess.there was no effort to clean anything up. Could say so much more.

Good staff poor cleaning restrooms filty food ok desert area filty ice cream all over the floor and machine no deserts on the table it was empty overall very bad place shame tho cuz 5 years ago it was really good food and all was good you suppost to improve through the years but ive seen this restaurant go worse

Not everything is good and you have to try everything too find the best they offer but when you do, its really good. Then its time for dessert and they have to roll you out the door and crane lift you into your car. Do yourself a favor and skip lunch before you hit this place.youll need the room.

This was the worst ever,waited like 5 minutes just to get silverware while standing with my plate in my hand then they had run out of cups for the soda,and the food wasnt all I expected,then when I went for desert and had to wait for The Cheesecake,waitress was awesome but thats it ,all bad

Last time I went here........I could not find one single chicken breast. It was all dark meat. An employee said there was no breasts that day. WHAT?????? I never go here with any high expectation....but at least offer a choice! Especially given the very high price .

I just went today for lunch and my second time grabbing a plate , I saw a bug that wasnt tiny but wasnt huge, crawling around the rim of the thing that hold the plates, and it was close to food :( i was having a good time until I saw that and it ruined my appetite :(

Salad bar empty and salad dressing every wheres all the food sections were empty and the ones that werent thay were beyond dry and stuck to the trays no clean plates floor was super sticky it was beyond sick will never ever go back and dont recommend it at all ..

I had a very bad experience here, they made me sit down on the floor and squat like Squanto. They force fed me corn until I was full and got food poisoning the next day. The service was disappointing, they acted like pilgrims who wanted to steal my land!!!

Excellent buffet! The food is great,and the wait is 0-10. The price is alrighty ,and the food is delicious. The pizza is bomb,and the Orange chicken is mu favorite. Expect some wait on food,but it not that long. The only problem is the small wait. :)

We like to come to eat here at this place. the food tents to be good, but I would like them to have more variety and different kinds of steak the staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean overall except the parking lot they should fix it up
