We chose this place because we saw great reviews on another website... There was no one at the front when we walked in but there was a sign that said, "Please wait to be seated," so we stood there, and waited, with a hungry two-year old. And we waited some more while upfront at the bar four employees chatted away, one even made eye contact with us but continued to talk to the bartender. After about ten minutes we were finally approached by who I can only assume was the hostess. We requested to sit outside on the patio as our two year old was hungry and it was empty, to be courteous to the rest of the guests, we opted to sit on the patio. Our waiter came right away for our drink order but had to go back two times before he finally remembered the booster seat we asked for when we were seated. Our food came in decent time, they even brought the babys out first so he could start right away. I ordered the fajitas which were sizzling on the plate as described in the menu. However, there was no cover on the handle of the cast iron plate and I ended up bumping it and burning my arm and hand in two different spots, today they look worse than they felt last night. . . Midway through dinner a small party decided to eat in the patio also, however, one older man from the party was walked into the patio smoking a cigar. They ended up sitting in front a fan that was blowing in our direction and smoked the remainder of our meal. The waitress nor waiter asked if we wanted the fan moved, even with our small child inhaling the smoke, but they did make sure to take the man an ash tray. I have asthma and so does my little one, so we got out of there as soon as he was done. Overall, this place has horrible service, bad manners, and should adopt a no smoking policy.

I have had the Sunday brunch and was delighted with the selection, including the made to order omlets, desserts and Freska waters. I visited again and had an amazing artichoke Quesada and chicken tortilla soup with flan for dessert. .. I would go there just for the flan and smiles from the handsome manager ;) My girlfriend had a combination plate and was raving about how fantasic the fried beans where, so I had to try them...... ummmmm bacon! I also had a bite of her chili renno, which had a tender crust and smooth creamy filling. The staff is friendly, warm and attentive even when its busy. Im looking forward to impressing my family with brunch over the holidays.!

I was referred to this place by a friend and due to the lack of Mexican restaurants on this side of town i thought Id give it a try. The food is horrible the machaca had no visible eggs. The mole taste like i dont know what. And what kind of place doesnt serve potatos with breakfast and with these prices i only get three creamers? Seriously ! I dont know what part of Mexico these people are from. The service was good so one star!

My finance and I thought we would eat,drink,and be merry. No, instead the dinner we were served was horrible, not to mention our drinks that lady bartender couldnt make a sex on the beach if her life depended it. heres the punch line, our check was for damn near 80.00! Unbelievable for what? We threw away the left over burritos I never finished my drink. Two thumbs DOWN Plaza Ventana, well never go there again.

Great food an services thank you to our server an the other staff for the recommendations especially the Plaza Ventana desert it was the BOMB! Can wait to come an hang out again maybe for the night life on a date again with my beautiful wife !

Customer service was horrible waited for about 10 minutes and still no waiter and no salsa and chips. And as we were leaving the waiter was talking and laughing with another table and just looked at us leave my wife and I will never go again

The food is soooo good, they serve huge portions, and have fantastic vegetarian options. Service is super friendly, kids are welcome, and the vibes are positive. I just wish they had super hot salsa or habaneros by request.

While I was there last year there was a cockroach on the wall and the place still looks dirty. The food is good but doesnt look clean either I never go there on my own but maybe its just this one on shaw thats dirty.
