We used La Cucina for our Homecoming dinner for 16 people. We ordered chicken parmesian with angel hair pasta in garlic and olive oil, green beans, cheese ravioli, and the Cashel salad (minus the nuts due to allergies). We picked up the order instead of catering the dinner. It was perfect. We kept the food warm in the oven and heated up the large loaves of bread that came with the meal. Unfortunately the salad was covered in Pecans. I called Amber the manager and she made a whole new salad and drove it to our house so we could feed the teenagers on time before their dance. She made sure we were taken care of. That is great service that you dont see everywhere. The meal was perfect and everyone was more then pleased with the food. It was a great combination and I would use them again. Thank you Amber for making La Cucina a great place with great service and happy to make everything perfect.

Normally, I love this place, however, last night was an exception. I had made reservations earlier in the week for the patio. I called and updated the count twice yesterday. When we arrived, we were on the patio, however, they placed us in a corner next to the big power box. We were in direct sun light (the server figured out how to block that for us with the new umbrellas they have). When I asked if we could move we were told that a large party was coming in. The irritation comes in that not once when I made the initial reservation or updated the counts, did the person on the phone tell me we were going to be placed in the corner due to a larger party. I would have chosen a different location for our dinner had I known. In hind site, we probably should have left but we were limited on time. On a side note, the food was very good.

Walking into the place already has a nice cozy feeling there is a hostess that greets you as soon as you walk in. First Impressions the place is spic-and-span spotless from floor to ceiling. The bar stretches from one end of the building to the other with a great selection of wines Spirits & Beers. The decor is modern contemporary and theres also a patio section that is shaded and kept. I ordered the blackened shrimp with spicy marinara the shrimp was cooked perfectly the spices were not overwhelming or overbearing also came with angel hair pasta that is aldente not overcooked it seems like they serve it up with a piece of garlic bruschetta bread that is soft very soft. One of the best Italian eateries in Reno and well worth the price.

Disappointment for lunch. Quiet not busy. Lunch special of Veal Marsala with mushrooms, with Angel hair pasta. Roasted green beans, to little pieces of bread. Veal was excellent and tender. Marshals was evident in a poor brown sauce that was a detractors. Mushrooms just right. Pasta was overcooked and drowned from being in water too long. Marinara sauce was lite, too light-lite. But tasted good. Green beans some were excellent, and some wilted beyond serving.

Awesome time! We were there for Valentines day, and despite them being very busy, we were well attended to and taken care of! Food was incredible and the atmosphere was superb! Our servers name was Joy and shes one of the best waitresses Ive ever had! Much recommended! I hear they get crazy busy on weekends, so call ahead when you can! If you want well done classic Italian food, look no further!

I was on my way to SF and made a quick stop for lunch as I was in the mood for italian. It turned out to be one of the best italian restaurants I have been to. I ordered the Alfredo pesto Pasta with Garlic Bread, which so far has been the best Garlic Bread I have had. I stepped into this restaurant with not much expectation and stepped out with a very good experience.
