One of the worst places I have ever been. The food is pathetic and tasted spoilt. The butter Nan that they serve in the buffet is so hard you may hurt yourself trying to eat it. The arrangement and management of the buffet items is also haphazard. I am puzzled as to why the US food safety department hasnt had an eye on such a pathetic place. Truly, you would see a doctor as soon as you eat at this place. There are many more authentic places that serve delicious Indian food just a stones throw from this place. I believe there would be a positive change when the owners of this place change their Manager who is responsible for all this stupid experience.

The food is delicious and thats what matters. I love and recommend the butter chicken, hariyali kofta and Andhra Dal. The place has acceptable interiors and welcoming and friendly staff, which is enough for how cheap the food is. I usually end up ordering combos and Oh man theyre huge. The food doesnt taste like americanized Indian which is a requirement for a lot of people. I wish people treated this place for the humble little joint it is. If you go to lotus expecting a royal treatment and food alike, youre ought to be disappointed. Although I wish if they used fresher ingredients and less oil, the food would taste even better.

Their vijayawada chicken biryani is hit and miss. Sometimes it is spicy and flavorful, and other times there is no flavor even when requested spicy. The service is terrible. The last 3 times I have ordered biryani there, they say it will be ready in 20 minutes, and even after I arrive 30 minutes after I placed the order I have to wait another 15- 20 minutes! So it takes them on average 45 minutes to make 1 order of biryani?! There is no doubt, when they make it right, their vijayawada chicken biryani is the best in Fremont. I just wish they were more consistent and timely. Dont go here, if you want food fast.

Good food and good service. Their chicken vijayawada biriyani was brilliant and so was the goat curry. They have a dinner buffet for $10, but that has only veg items. Its good for vegetarians who want to have dosas, idlis, vada etc. Will definitely come back

We went there friday evening with friends, ordered vegetable manchurian, noodles, garlic Naan , Kofta curry. All the items are served at right temperature and the taste was pretty good. Portion of each dish is decent.

The biryani rice is not cooked its still a bit crunchy. We ordered Andhra Chicken and mentioned spicy but its sweet and they put raw tomatoes. The water glasses doesnt smell good at all.
