Summary: Goat Biryani taste was good but not excellent and is one of the better one in town. It is not the same as Persis Paradise in Hyd, quantity is low for $14, pricey, more goat pieces should be included (dont be greedy please), sauteed onions in rice, why call it raitha when it is butter milk with onions?, more limey would be good. Overall, I felt like making some at home and give them a sample like "Tabu" does in "Cheeni Kum" simply to make a statement that there is room to bring it closer to home. I drove all the way from Fremont to try it out, but would settle for Biryani Bowl or Pakwan in the future. For people living in Santa Clara or nearby areas, this can be a good place to get closer to home. People got to know that the original Paradise in Hyd is "Persis Paradise" and this place has no affiliation to it. I know the owners in Hyd and they confirmed it. I was very disappointed with Raitha. Really, it was butter-milk with a bunch of cut onions - try Biryani Bowl for real thing. Also, the goat pieces were sprinkled in. Typical Hyd Biryani has sauteed brown onions in the rice and I did not see any. Other Biryani places dress it with raw cut onions, which is also not right. With what authority I say this: My friends know the answer to this.. __._,_.___

So the breakdown is as follows. Service - Poor -1 Ambience - Okay - 2 Food non veg - great - 5 Food veg - poor -1 To go service - poorest - 0 So if you are an ardent fan of non vegetarian food amidst chaos and mismanagement this is a place for you. Apparently the service levels had been great in last couple of years, however it has been going south. The ladies attending the customers at the cash counter need some trianing. I happened to order Togo stuff and I reached the venue well on time. I was made to sit around 20 minutes more. The root cause of all this happened to be the miscommunication. Moreover I paid the amount well ahead of time and didnt take receipt. I was asked bluntly whether I paid or not. The house is jam packed, they make people sit till the last hair of the restaurant. The restrooms are also not well maintained. Certainly this is not my choice for future.

Yesterday we had ordered chicken dum Biriyani. It was horrible. The Biriyani rice was over cooked and the chicken was also over cooked. We asked to make it spicy but it was not at all spicy. When we went there to pick up our food I asked them that is it spicy then one of their person said that whom did you ask to amke it spicy? I mean how will i know over phone that to whom i m taking and is this the kind of answer we should get from them. Their behavior was like as if it doesnt matter if we come back nor not but they will continue to make these kind of worst biryani the way they are making. They do not care about reviews I guess. So readers I personally like Biriyani like anything but I never had such Biriyani as of now. It was a worst biryani I have ever had.

We picked Biryanis from paradise biryani pointe,Santa Clara while on our way to San Jose. This is the worst Biryani we ever had. It is just rice (completely mushy) and veggies/ chicken, no curry/ masala, nothing else, I ordered spicy ones, but it is mildest ever. We where so hungry when we opened, when we saw it, I cant tell the frustration level, I called them, after 10 minutes talk, they said chef who cooks biryani is not available today, so some one else cooked, that was not the answer I expected, after more discussion, they said they will send us freshly cooked biryanis, after 30 minutes I received biryanis hoping it will be good this time, but it is same biryani!!! Sleeping empty stomach. Stay away from this biryani pointe.

We had the veg dum biryani , mixed veg pakoda, egg curry and naan. The biryani itself was really good. The mixed veg pakoda had only onion pakoda and nothing else. Should have been rather called onion pakoda. The food in general tasted good. The 3 stars is for the really really long wait time. We were 2nd to enter the store after they opened up for dinner and ordered shortly after. What they actually delivered was all the take outs and bulk orders first. We got our food after a good 45 minute wait without anyone telling us anything about the delay.

Horrible experience!! DO NOT GO! Ordered a goat dum biryani for takeout. Last order at 10pm. When i came home and opened the biryani, it was smelling like rat urine. The pieces were also as hard as stone. I called them up immediately but they dint pick up as restaurant was closed. Next day when I called them up the manager was extremely arrogant and have dont care attitude and refused to talk. He mentioned that it is a busy restaurant so they dnt care abt 1-2 complaints. 0 stars if possible.

Our first authentic Biryani experience in the Bay Area and it did not disappoint. Chicken tikka was spicy and came on a sizzling plate, it was good but I have clearly had better. The chicken dum biryani was the high point. You can taste the flavors of the spice had percolated through all layers of the rice. The accompanying spicy peanut sauce enhanced the flavors of the biryani. A great place for Hyderabadi food in the Bay area

I had a high expectation on this restaurant. Totally a disappointing experience. I have ordered for Chicken 65 biryani. Its a disaster. The worst I have ever tasted. It had a wierd rotten smell. Rice was stale and chicken wasnt fresh. I had a feeling that it was for sure prepared the before day. I would not recommend this restaurant. I am giving a 2 star only for their service, which was okay.

Called and ordered food. Asked to come in 20 min. I go there in 40 min and I was asked to wait for another 10 min. Food was lying on counter and they dont even bother to look unless asked for. When I opened the biryani it was just plain white rice with sprinkled saffron with chicken at bottom. What a disgrace to call it Hyderabadi dum biryani and sell it for 12 bucks.

A regular visit for all biryani buffs. Nothing fancy and below avg services during peak hours. Made me wait for 50 mins for a simple chicken biryani that usually tskes them 10-15 mins. No mirch salaan or mint chutney on the side. Oh sorry it was the waiter who forgot it in midst of things. Anyways going back only if I am dying to eat biryani. Will pass otherwise.

Horrible biryani. I ordered dum biryani ..... and it was tasteless. Never expected this from them since their name is "Paradise Biryani" and their Biryani is the worst I have ever eaten. Also, Pradise Biryani is the most famous biryani in Hyderabad .... but here it is horrible. I expected it to have awesome biryani .... cant believe that their is that horrible.
