Over the years of coming I can say that the crowd and vibe have slowly changed and even from day to day, night to night. Many years ago, not to date myself, but I would regularly see an older well dressed crowd listening to radio jams. Obviously they upgraded their sound system, but the crowds got younger, a little more fresh. Its not like they are playing club bangers, but more their idea of real hip hop. Its still a bar that gets crowded and there is no dress code so inevitably youll see the anti-social drunk around while most people are having a good time. I like how there is an upstairs lounge, but hate how the entire bottom floor is designed. Bathrooms way in the back, small dance area, tables disrupting everyones flow. Huge pillars right at the bar. It reminds me of a cross between The Stampede and Rookies Ive actually never eaten here despite the fact I know they serve food. Ive really only come here at night so I cant attest to that. So we come to today and the crowd is getting younger, the songs are getting to be more my style, but only when a good DJ is on and you can forget Saturdays and Fridays late because its a pile. Early in the evening the drinks are good, but they get worse, sloppy. Most of the bartenders are experienced, but some flirt too much and provide slow service. The security has always been good here, incidents were squashed and moved outside quickly and quietly. If you Vape the upstairs area is generally acceptable if you ask first, dont assume.

Been in here a few times during the holidays and will never return. Service was horrible, rude and unprofessional. Wait staff cant handle being "In the Weeds" when it gets busy. Thirty minutes to get my order taken. Cant refill drinks promptly. All they care about is turning their tables over and act they are entitled to to a 25% tip. Manager is some surf punk who has deplorable people skills like the rest of the staff can only apologized and never offered any compensation.

Cool pub vibe in cozy Encinitas. My party got the cheese steak, a half-pound burger, BBQ and teriyaki wings, tacos, fries, and onion rings. The food was so good we were insisting we all try everything. The Philly was awesome! Well seasoned and tender steak and melted american cheese with sauteed onions and peppers. Apparently the onion rings were exceptional as well. We were only drinking soda. There was way too much syrup, so that was a downer.

Great sports Bar and specials like Taco Tuesday and burger deals. The clam chowder bread bowl is up there with the best in Boston. The reason for 4 stars is that the bathroom is gross. There was no toilet seat in one room and it smells like rotten eggs. Please remodel!

I went here twice this past weekend. Once Friday night then again on Saturday. The Friday night crowd was a little younger. Saturday seemed alittle bit of a nicer, slightly older atmosphere. Bartenders were nice and the hostess was super sweet both times.

Good breakfast on Sat and Sunday. Great pizza and burgers and other assorted lunch items. Excellent Bloody Marys 5$, and $3 mimosas, with entry of TVs for sports. Great brunch landing on weekends. Very laid back and casual, friendly service.

The night scene is pretty decent! No fights or crazy stupid people. The crowd is decent and just people minding there own business and having a good time. The age group for the night scene here is 21-30. Definitely will be going back!

Great food....always try to stop by when I am in town from Md.....also, I wanted to buy a souvenir baseball hat but they were out....the owner emailed me and sent me a hat some two months after my visit....thats customer service!!

Decent (not great) selection of beers. The place is usually mostly locals, and the bar staff/servers can be a little unfriendly sometimes. Either way, its one of the better bars in "downtown" Encinitas.

Seemed like a cool place ordered the Philly cheese steak.flavor was ok kinda disappointed with the size was small for how much it cost although they do have a decent selection of craft beer.

I really enjoy this venue! The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the drink prices arent too bad for an Encinitas bar. Makes a great stop among some of the other Encinitas venues!

Fun place. All of the food was good, but the onion rings were the very best I have ever had. Fresh made in house, with lots of pepper in the coating. I would go there for just the rings.

Best burgers. They use a pretzel bun. Salad is fresh as well as the rest of their food. Excellent service when its normal not as good when its packed but that can be expected anywhere.
