Accidents happen. I am okay with that. The expediter/waitress brought out a scalding plate of mac n cheese to my son and rather than give the standard "be careful this is really hot" comment it was placed in front of him complete with spoon. It was so hot he actually spit it out off his tongue burning his arm and leg as it fell from his mouth. The waitress was wonderful. She apologized and brought ice chips and was genuinely caring. What happened next was ridiculous. She obviously felt the situation waranted a manager visit and when he came out, he was not even close to apologetic. He acted like he had no idea why he was even there. He actually offered to "box up our food" ?? Im assuming so we could get out of his restaurant (as my son was still upset and our time was now being spent attending to his burned mouth) His attitude was what can I do to prevent this from happening again mode and admit no wrong doing. Mind you, at no time did we EVER ask to speak with a manager! Then to be treated so uncaringly was disturbing. I was so disturbed by his attitude I couldnt speak. I was in shock at his carelessness for my son. It would have been better if he never even came out! At minimum he could have offered a re heat of our food (as you can imagine as a parent, I spent the next 5-10 minutes spooning ice chips and making sure my child was okay, while my food was getting cold) needless to say my son was no longer interested in his dinner at all. He should have walked over and to look at my son. To add insult to injury, when my husband suggested our food was no longer warm, an assistant manager offered to take off and entree from our bill. Again we didnt want anything free. It was almost to just get us out of there. Then only removed an appetizer off the bill. Really???!!! We went to have a nice family meal. Not anything free. Ordered appetizers, expensive entrees and ended up being a cautionary tale on how to not treat your customers! I kept waiting for someone to tell me we were on candid camera!

Late post. 4/23/16 my gf and I got engaged. (Fiance) we went here and bcuz things happen. I made sure to tell our waiter we had just got engaged!! I snuck to the restroom to ask her if after our meal that she plz bring our dessert with a message on it. Long story short. I thought telling them would make service run smooth. Our appetizer was sent back bcuz of an eyelash. Pizza got sent back and should have been sent back the second time too but I was already irritated and had been waiting too long. The beer samples took 20mins to get to us and were warm bcuz they come in shot glasses and so that means it took forever to pick our drinks. Once we did it was half foam. Then as they see that Im irritated but trying to hold it together. I cancel the dessert and say screw it. So all of a sudden. Dessert is free and the bill was taken care off. That is nice and all. But how about u consider that these are the memories we love with for a life time and u guys played a messed up part in it. Needless to say. I look fwd to our engagement party. At least we get a do over elsewhere.

Horrible horrible place to eat the wait to get seated was supposed to be 5 min but it took 20 min to get seated. The waitress took long to come and take our order she walked by me like 3 times before she noticed I was ready. Then it took like another 20 min to get our food I ordered the pizza and it was not worth $14 at all it was cold and plain and when I asked for ranch i had to ask two different waitress. My boyfriend got the bacon BBQ chedder burger and fries. The fries were cold and the burger again was not worth almost $14. The waitress was slow and she wasnt very friendly maybe she was having a bad day or tired but she didnt make us feel welcomed. We are never coming back here again. The only good thing was the side ceased salad. So disappointed and unsatisfied.

Not sure if I am just out of touch w beer cost as I hardly ever ever drink beer. Since Buffalo Wild Wings was packed for a major soccer game I ended up at the YH next door to see the game. Ordered a corona and was surprised it cost 6.75 for a draft not even for a bottle. With tax thats over 7 bucks for 16oz of beer. Now I know their cost is less than a dollar. Yes its a nicer place and location still to high. As a business owner i get it u need to make a profit but 600% mark up on beer come on thats what you should b making on hard liquor not draft beer. Needless to say I will continue to stay away from beer, especially at bars like The Yard House.

I am sorry to say our experience was not good. We really like the Yard House, but Mon. night, Dec. 29, 2014 was not a good night. Our appetizer of Calamari was cold, so we sent it back. The second order was over cooked and only slightly warm. I ordered the garlic noodles with lobster, crab and shrimp. It also came barely warm. By this time, I was a little embarrassed at complaining, and let it go. In the morning, I woke with a terrible stomach ask and was sick all day. I am not sure if the food was bad because it was Mon. or because there is a systemic problem with the kitchen. Either way, I dont plan on going back for a while.

We came tonight for our weekly family dinner out. There were 6 adults and1 child. The hostess staff sat 2 parties of 6 adults that came AFTER us, BEFORE us. We asked 3 times how much longer the wait would be and none of them could tell us, so we left and went somewhere else. Myself having been in the food service industry, knows that you can look around the dining room and guess-timate how long the wait will be. THAT is good customer service. Needless to say LOVE the food, but the initial service needs work.

I go often to Yard house and was so disappointed, we ordered appetizers boneless buffalo wings and a burger and turkey melt and 2 drinks. We received our food order one was wrong and asked what happened to our appetizer? They brought the appetizer after we had our food order, took back the wrong food order, did not charge for wings and I still paid a bill of over $70. Manager should have been more accommodating, asked if I wanted another martini but charged me for that as well! No customer satisfaction, sad.

Was here for St Pattys... Thought it was going to be overly crowded but it wasnt. We were able to get a large booth within about 10 minutes! Food was yummy as usual... Chicken wraps, pizza, just about anything on the happy hour menu - Cant go wrong! Had green beer of course! Loved the Black Velvet! Service was great - had a wonderful waitress - think her name was "CC". El Picante... Black Orchid... Refresher... Havent had a bad cocktail yet. Great place for happy hour!
