They serve "authenticate" mexican food but no flavor, no heat, portions are ok but ok portions of mediocre food is still mediocre food. We ordered a "margarita" made with wine, chips and guacamole, chill quilles with chorizo and my significant other order a wet burrito with steak. The food was brought to us with no utensils maybe has to do with being seated outside I dont know. But after waiting for a waiter/waitress to come and check if everything was ok no avail. I got up asked if we could have utensils not rude no attitude. Got the utensils finally the waiter ask if there was anything that they can do for us asked for hot sauce because again bland food. Few minutes goes by waiter brings out other peoples food fine the other patrons start to eat waiter checks on them then makes their way back to us "is everything going ok? " ugh can get the hour sauce we asked for 15 minutes ago? Didnt actually say it like that but you know what I mean. All I can say is the best part of this experience was the water they presented it in a wine bottle.

Ive had food from Canasta 3 times, either in the restaurant or from their food truck when its at Todos Santos Park, and have loved it each time. The first time was for breakfast during the 4th of July parade, and it was awesome. The dulce de leche pancakes are particularly good. The second time was from their food truck in Todos Santos a week and a half ago. I had the flautas, which were quite tasty. The chipotle sauce they put on it was fantastic. The last time was this past Friday. My girlfriend and I had the huarache and the ceviche, both of which were excellent. The coup de grace, though, was the flan. Both of us agreed, probably the best flan that wed ever had. There is some slowness with the restaurant, particularly with how fast the food comes out. However, I chalk that up to the kinks that inevitably need working out with any restaurant opening. Plus, the food is SOOO worth it. Just go, your taste budsll thank you later.

This time I got the pork Street Tacos for lunch to go. As usual they were amazing! There were 3 juicy well-seasoned tacos. A nice sized portion of rice and beans were included, along with their fancy chips smothered in black bean sauce and crema. They were very nice and offered my friend and I water while we waited for our food. I also had a Groupon so I got a crazy good deal!

What a treasure! We were looking for a breakfast place. Had tried two or three other yelp suggestions but the waits were too long or there was no parking. Was about to give up and saw this out of the way place. So glad we stopped! The food was delicious. The portions were large. The service was exceptional. Well be back to try lunch and dinner!

Great food, excellent staff and a wonderful dining experience. I havent had Mexican food this good in a very long time. Also, the proportions are generous without being too much. I will be taking my friends and family here from now on. Plus, it doesnt hurt that they have a bottomless mimosa deal Saturdays and Sundays!

Very tasty food. Got the flouta app and was great. Pork empanada was very good, i recommend it over the chicken empanada. Heading back to try more because so far even the worse they have served has been amazing. Very friendly wait staff when i visited. They never forgot me even though we were outside.

Modern decor and authentic recipes. We enjoyed the grilled salad with chicken, (a delicious bite to the dressing) sopitos (corn cakes with black beans, lettuce, and choice of carne, and chili rellenos. Fresh ingredients, hearty portions, attentive service. Cant wait to try the food truck near my work!

$33 for 1 modelo, guacamole, and a chile rellino, and the meat in the rellino was tough and grisly . My wife ordered an Alambre with rib-eye which was so tough she had a hard time chewing it and cost $24. NOT a good value, the taste was ok.

Fantastic food, superb presentation, amazing service, modern but relaxed feel to the place, and a hidden away gem that I always come back to, thus making it my favorite restaurant in Concord. (I definitely recommend their sangrias)

Love this place! Everything I have ordered has been yummy!!! Tortilla soup is my fav!!! Super clean also and the service is great!!! And if your looking good for a good cocktail the sangria is a must, very fresh and light tasting!

Awesome happy hour; Im all about the $3 sangria, and their house white is pretty smooth. Wasnt impressed with the tacos, but the wet carnitas burrito might be the best burrito Ive gotten in Concord!
