My waiter was rude and not in a playful way. He asked why I wasnt ordering more. That was before I told him that I didnt want a drink, and a water would do fine. Im a guy that can look past bad service, if the foods good. Ive been a server... I get it, everyone has rough days, but I dont think that this was that circumstance. My glass of water tasted like it came from a fish tank! Seriously. At that point I would have ordered a drink, but he didnt come back for 35 mins. I was literally getting up to ask for him, with a mind to walk out, when my food was been delivered, all was forgiven! (temporarily...) The potatoes were ice cold, the ham was leather and my poached eggs were floating in a bowl of water. When I sat down I thought that $20.00 sounded a little steep for breakfast, and it definitely is when you leave hungry. If this review saves even one person from that experience, It was worth it. Beware of an empty breakfast spot on a Sunday morning! Haha

The koobideh was great, I was kinda worry about the freshness and the oiliness. Hopefully it was fresh, not oily in comparison with the other restaurant s koobideh, also very little salt. The Calamari was really fatty though and I give 3 out of 5 to fried Calamari (appetizer) .The shrimp sandwich was fresh but high calories( because of cheese) , the Salad aside the Sandwich was not fresh. Overly the restaurant worth to try and you can consider it as a persian restaurant too as it carry lots of Iranian food on the menue. One more thing, they Dont serve any kinds of steaks at lunch !!

The food was not good. I ordered a simple kabob dish and it was leather. I asked for a new one and they gave me the same piece of leather. No one even checked to make sure the second serving was okay. Only when I asked for the check did they ask if everything was okay. Too late. I ate rice and pita bread for lunch. DO NOT EAT HERE!

This restaurant is fabulous!! My family and i came for breakfast while visiting Carmel. The server was very friendly. The coffee was delicious and the food came out fast and was fresh and yummy! Even the owner came over to greet guests warmly...he made small talk while asking howeverythjng was. Highly recommend!!

Great food. A little on the expensive side for what you get. Mediocre service with no conversation. Asked to split our bill, and they charged my guest for all of our food and also charged me for mine. No apology was given and the process to fix the payment took way too long.

I ordered a lamb sandwich to go. I told the man I wanted the meat medium. The sandwich I received was awful. End prices hard and seem like ends fried on grill not sure. Very disappointed. 18.50 disappointed. Hot me once never again.

Came in for a pizza take out. The Artichoke one was the bomb. Speaking of bombs the second room dining area needed a good vacuum. But I get it your too impressed with the food who is looking at the floor. Id go back.

We ate their once. It wasnt awful but it wasnt good at all. The waitress was very pleasant. We wont be returning. If we want that quality, we can do better next door at Safeway for half the cost.

Peaceful environment with caring servers. Interesting color scheme on the inside but the food was simple yet amazingly prepared. Great delicious breakfast and will come back for lunch.

Very good persian dish for a cafe with dominating sandwich and pasta food. Close to point lobas, very convenient for hikers and visitors in this area to grab breakfast or lunch.

Get the leg of lamb, you wont be sorry. Their Turkish coffee is excellent too, very strong but smooth, not harsh. Friendly staff. We got the organic Cabernet, very good.
