My wife and I had a celebratory dinner at Sea Harvest over going to Phils in Moss Landing, due to Sea Harvests reputation and proximity to our house. This was a mistake. I ordered fish and chips, and garlic bread for the table, my wife ordered coconut shrimp, and a prawn cocktail to share as our table was singularly not given the customary bread and butter, giving us tepid water, with which to make a wise menu choice. While I had Diet Coke ($2.75/can), my wife ordered hard cider and was given Martinellis Apple Cider (more/bottle, I believe). The coconut shrimp was "fantastic", the four slices of garlic bread were fairly average, and the base of the Manhattan clam chowder was pleasantly found to be a tasty Cioppino base. The fried artichokes tasted like what was once an artichoke during the summer of love with a lemon-dill aioli. The fish and chips were prosaic enough to be from a box with a yellow storm gear-clad bearded Fishman, and there were NO clams in the (Manhattan) clam chowder. And the prawn cocktail consisted of what seemed to be U10 shrimp, not prawns, up-charging the price of the appetizers relying on the customers ignorance or credulity. One apple juice, two diet cokes, two waters, prawn/shrimp cocktail, garlic bread, fried artichokes, a bowl of (Manhattan) Clam Chowder, Coconut shrimp as an entree, and fish and chips as an entree, plus 10% tip came to ~$90.00. And no bread, unlike the people dining next to us. So if you want over-priced spotty service with no amenities other than tap water, with no ice, please come to Sea Harvest and over-spend. Or get many Filet-O-Fish at McDonalds and walk away a happier, more frugal customer. You can even get free refills and french fries. Or a fried Strawberry Pie. Needless to say, I hope Sea Harvest enjoys our money, because for a restaurant that smells like ammonia in the main dining room and fails to provide fair customer service, there are many more options if you would take the time to drive to receive appropriate service. Good luck and happy dining.

“Productos marineros de calidad a la vista” El lugar está ubicado en un parking que no dice lo que luego te vas a encontrar. Decoración muy marinera, productos a la vista de buena calidad, servicio atentísimo y cabe la posibilidad de encontrase a cierto cliente famoso en el mundo del cine si vas a almorzar en sábado. Las ostras fabulosas.

Unwanted visitors table side Cockroaches!! We had oysters, shrimps with rice and seafood pasta. The seafood tasted fresh. However, the seafood pasta came out bland...tasted like they forgot to add salt? And I am usually the one saying food are too salty at restaurants... But most definitely would not visit again because of the cockroaches. We told our servers discreetly and they removed the bottle of wine that it was sitting on...but another one showed up on the wine rack a few minutes after. They didnt not offer any apology or compensation.

The crab cake, grilled salmon and fried chicken were all tasty. The service is okay, we got there and there were people trying to figure out how to get a table. We asked one of the waitress and she said talk to Maria. Maria didnt even had a clue. After 10 minutes a person came up saying he knew the order and finally sat us down. Again the food is great but they lack organization. The brought the two adults entrees and the kids meal arrived blazing hot 10 minutes later, because they got messed up.

They close at 930pm, came last night at 810pm as a family was coming out, and we were told the kitchen was closed. Really wanted to try this place, so we came back this morning, they open at 8am, nothing says they dont serve until 11am. We showed up at 1030am and were refysed service again. I asked if we could sit and have a glass of wine in the meantime. The Latina lady was very rude! And said absolutely not, she was too busy and there was no server. How hard is it to pour 2 glasses of wine?!?!

This place was so great! We went on a Wednesday evening around 7pm, its small and we got the last available table. The food was amazing! We got the fried calamari (the pieces were the biggest Ive ever had!) I got the special that was Cajun Trout and my husband got the Seafood Pasta- they were both great! Mine came with a salad, baked potato, green beans and two pieces of fish. We also got bread and butter before the the meal- you definitely get a bang for your buck! Loved it!

We didn’t expect a tourist location have such a quality seafood restaurant! Our salmon was grilled to near perfection, nice smoky char on the outside, moist and slightly under cook on the inside, really spot on. The fish and chip outside was crispy, inside the cod was moist, fresh and flaky. Great little discovery, so glad we stop by for a late lunch.

Shared the fish and chips & calamari and chips & a bowl of clam chowder with my wife, and we both left full. The calamari was excellent and the pieces were large. The fish was very good and a generous portion. The clam chowder was tasty. Hole-in-the-wall kind of atmosphere and its a fish market as well, so they have a fish counter where you can buy fish.

A fresh seafood place that is more interested in the food than in the decor. Much better than the tourist traps that cost twice or three time as much. I particularly like the battered prawns. And the service was friendly and helpful. A good place to relax after a long day kicking back!

Small seafood restaurant in a shopping center near Carmel. We ordered shrimp, oysters, clam chowder, and Chilean seabass. The shrimp was dry, oysters were old, the chowder tasted generic (out of a can) and the seabass was overcooked. Would not go back.

The service was great, and we received our food quickly. I would come back here! Very good coleslaw, and every seafood entree you could imagine. We were given a complimentary slice of cheesecake at the end- it made my day! What great people.

Good, not bad, no wait. Fish and chips very good, crispy, local fish, good portion. I chose side of house made Cole slaw which was good. Clam chowder is okay, barely any clams. Recommend the artichoke, the prawns, fish tacos. Good service.

Excellent food and service. Highly recommend the seabass. We only come to the Carmel area once a yr. and Sea Harvest has become our favorite place to eat. Staff very friendly and fish is fresh. Denise from Santa Clarita, CA

Delicious! Clam chowder was perfect, calamari was some of the freshest Ive ever had, and the fish n chips were so light! Totally agree with other posts about food quality >>> dining environment (far better than the other way...)

Consistently excellent service and food (both prepared dishes and fresh fish). Casual and unpretentious, with friendly efficient service. Their Prawns & Chips (battered like their traditional Fish & Chips) are outstanding.

Fantastic grilled tilapia sandwich with fries for $10. Mixed fried seafood was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Fish for sale looks good but a little pricey. Ambiance is laid back and sunny.
