Wow. Tasteless is the right word. I would not have believed you could take all of the flavor out of vegetables, rice, beans, chicken, and salsa. If youre suffering from depression and dont want to enjoy life anymore, go here and have a bite. If you have a few extra dollars to waste, stop in, buy a burrito, and then throw it in the trash when you leave. It would be too cruel to feed to the homeless. I paid $27 dollars for three tasteless burritos and one soda. What a rip. Island Taco, my name is Erick Teeters and I want my money back.

Not worth the $17.95. The portions were good but the problem I had was that it didnt have much flavor. I ordered 2 tacos, Mexican Caesar salad(a cesaer salad with tortilla chips on top) and a coke and it came to $17.95. For $17.95, I was really expecting a party in my mouth. The tacos were like something I could make at home for a few bucks.

When I went to Island Taco in Carmel the rice was tasteless, and I love rice, so that didnt impress me. Although I did enjoy my mahi taco. Another thing that bothered me was how the table next to me was 1 foot away. But if you arent looking for gourmet food and just regular taste, you should go here. They also have a lot of sauces.

Ordered 2 shredded beef tacos to go for lunch, but when I returned back to my office, it was chicken. Very big bummer. Called and they argued that is what I ordered, but they finally relented and will give me the correct food at no cost on my next visit. Giving 3 stars (average) instead of 1 because of resolution.

Their fish tacos, what they are pushing, are terrible. They were dry and overly fishy. Their rice bowl was okay. A restaurant should be able to stand by their flagship product.

Best fish tacos Ive had. You can literally make two tacos out of one. The guests we invited to eat there were extremely pleased and referred to it as "great call".

Vegetarian food is quite good here, try the vegetarian burrito! Its got tofu and is great.
