Worst service ever!! We were driving down from SF to LA and stopped here for breakfast. When we arrived Alicia took us down for a table for 7 and told us to wait for a few mins. 15 mins passed and no follow up, when we approached her she told us that it will take another 15 mins. When we told her she has been seating large tables who came after us she looked at us as if she is lost and then she told us it will take another half an hour for us to be seated. After reminding her that she had told us in the begining that "it will take only few mins", she didnt even apologise with a I dont care attitude. We have visited a lot of IHOPs and their service used to be always good. This experience was really bad thanks to Alicia and her co workers. Finally, we left without any apology, acknowledgement and food.

I dont care what time of the day you come into this IHOP, the service is always slow. The food is typical overpriced for basic IHOP, but of course this is Santa Cruz where you have no choice other than nasty Dennys (ugh) or even more over priced smaller places that close at 1:00 for breakfast. Sometimes you want breakfast for dinner, so this is the only (lame) choice. Theyll be 3 people in the whole place and youll still get your food 30 minutes (and it will be COLD probably because its been sitting around for 20 of the 30 minutes) after you order it. What are they doing back there? I avoid this place unless I have a good coupon that makes it worth the looooooong wait.

Never again. This i-Hop has the worst food ever. I have eaten there twice now, hoping the first time was just a bad day, never again. My eggs Benedict was the worst. Hollandaise Sauce broke and was greasy - my waitress served it anyway - obvious they dont have a clue as to what good food looks like and my wifes pancakes were raw inside. No we didnt have them redo them because we were hungry and frankly I dont have the time to wait for their cook to learn the basics. What a shame because I live around the corner.

I love the archetecture of this former fjords Smorg-ette building. This building was originally built as part of the fjords Smorg-ette chain of restaurants that were in business from 1964 to 1988. fjords Smorg-ette had locations throughout California, with one location in Portland, Oregon, the country of Guam and had plans for locations in the state of Washington before they went out of business. I-Hop has done a nice job of remodeling & preserving this building.

Service was horrible . Yet again . Drinks came after the food only after I asked for them . Took my kid to the restroom came back food was gone. If you get the 63 waitress best bet is to just leave . Shes pathetic . Wish I had a better word to describe her. But pathetic fits so well. Manager tried to fix things hes a nice kid.

The service at this location was unfortunately very slow. Some of our food was missing, and when they brought out replacements, it was undercooked. They also seemed to be running low on blintz filling and so mixed in something the was far too sweet. Unfortunately, this location really hasnt been a success for us.

I can hardly believe it myself, but IHOP has the best veggie omelette in town. Their Garden Omelette is packed full of Broccoli, tomato, and mushrooms. I also add their spinach offering to boost the green power then finish it off with a servings of fruit. A pancake house with fruits and vegetables. Who knew!!!!!

Like others have stated, takes too long for things to arrive, understaffed, and 20 mins for a glass of water? Or no eating utensils at the table? Its not even super busy with the amount of people here. People eat out for service and quailty food, patience can only last so long.

I literally love IHOP so much and it makes me so sad that people leave bad reviews here. every time I am here the workers are so nice and sweet and the food is so thicc and delicious I feel unworthy of IHOP in all honesty. like damn this place is so good

If you want to be served food the day that you go in you do not want to go to this IHOP. Every time I go in there there is one person working and it takes about half an hour just to be seated and then another half an hour just to get water.

The customer service was on point. We got our seats less than 10 mins during the busy hours of the morning. Prices are cheap for a full plate of ham and cheese omelet side of hash-brown along with their delicious hot chocolate.

The staff, service, location is amazing and disciplined . Verry clean. However, I think that their menues can be alot better. Throw some more veggies and healthier foods. Other than that this place is great.

They have the best omelets ever! The big steak omelet is what they say, BIG! The pancakes are great too, I prefer blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup. The best!!
