Arrived at the intersection of happy hour and dinner, so we had a lot of choices. Ordered the carpaccio as a starter, which was delicious, although it was seared and not entirely raw. Paired this with a red wine duo (two small glasses, one Merlot and one Cabernet Sauvignon), which my wife and I shared. Then we ordered our main courses from the happy hour menu. I had a pair of chicken sliders, which were great, and my wife had the chicken and strawberry salad. We both enjoyed our meals, and the best part was the price. The carpaccio was by far the most expensive item we ordered (even the two glasses of wine together were cheaper). They were also able to accommodate our 18 month old and had some delicious chicken strips for her. All in all a wonderful experience.

Let me just start with WOW! What a WONDERFUL experience. This is the most beautiful mansion in Los Gatos and the PET FRIENDLY patio garden is just right for bringing your furry friend along. This is a place where you can just relax and enjoy the moment. The owners, Chuck and Rita, are so nice and really made me feel welcome, like youre having dinner with friends. The service was also great! Alex, Nikki, Winnie, Laura, Jenna, and Izzy really cared about making my visit a special one. Their recommendations on drinks and food were perfect. Try the Shrimp Cocktail "Camarones a la Diabla" in Martini glass or the "El Cubanito" Kurobuta with Pork Tenderloin sandwich. Spice it up with a Bloody Mary or Sangria. Que Vola! Steve and Ruffles

Food was amazing, service was atrocious. The waitress was like MIA, i personally cleared the appetizer plates as dinner was served. Then once the bill came she disappeared again so we decided asking for another glass of wine was just not worth it. After my sister asked another waitress if she could take a picture of all of us and she never came to our table after ten minutes of waiting. Luckily the hostess was exceptionally nice and willing to take it. Overall great food, with a service staff that sucks.

Recently I held a small family event at Palacio. The two owners, Chuck and Rita, went above and beyond expectations in helping me consider all possibilities, keeping in touch as the event approached, and attending to important details throughout. The food was excellent and the setting beautiful, but the gracious service was just wonderful.

Happy hour here is a must! Tasty appetizers and stiff margaritas are a match made in heaven! The also have an awesome outdoor patio set back from the street. It is dog friendly too! Ive never had dinner here so my rating is just for their happy hour. The building has had many different restaurants come and go, but I hope Palacio stays!

Delicious food, reasonable portions. We ordered and enjoyed the truffle fries, cauliflower gratin, short ribs, and tacos. Beautifully plated, prompt, and yummy. The atmosphere was a bit lacking. At 7pm we were 1 of 5 seated tables, and no one came in after us.

One of my favorite restaurants so far in CA. everything comes with a side, which is nice, and the food is delicious. combine that with the price point and you have a winner. but wait, there is also a free parking lot right next to it, and its free. just go.

Cantina hour had really good tapas style appetizers. Mussels and sopecitos were delicious. Hibiscus Sangria was also tasty, great for a hot day. Will have to go back for dinner sometime, but going back for Cantina hour (i.e. happy hour) is a certainty.

Love the atmosphere, great menu. You can tell its still new...little slow on the food and it could have been warmer but delicious. Waiter was on it while we waited and I really liked this place. Five stars if the food had been quicker.

The outdoor seating makes this place special in a warm summer evening. The new menu is no longer as Mexican influenced so I was a bit disappointed at first but there were vegan and vegetarian options and the gemelli pasta was tasty.

Gordon Ramsay would pan it - salty food, stale burger buns, poor breads, the smell of an old wooden house (historic building, that is to be expected). On positive side, sitting in their garden is pleasant and has good people watching.

We had a wonderful wedding rehearsal dinner for 40 people in the Baja room on the second floor. The food and service were absolutely perfect! Our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the delicious meal.

Theres a new menu and its all good. No longer Mexican, although this was my first time at Palacio and thats all I knew about it before. Fries, wedge, eggs Benedict with salmon. Sitting out side is perfect.

Gorgeous restaurant and super tasty food. Red or white sangria option was cool so I had one of each. I also didnt know they had a huge upstairs for private parties...again very beautiful and super tasty!

We went here for my wifes birthday, and we had a great experience. An eclectic but delicious menu allowed everyone to get something they loved. Dont miss the burger, or the great cocktails!

Been here for both brunch and dinner. The brunch ambience is casual and laid back with outdoor seating and fun music. Dinner tends to be a bit fancier- the drinks and food were excellent.

I just love the vibe here. Patio is very chill and the house has a welcoming relaxed feel. Food is decent and on a hot day its so pleasant to sit in the shade of the large palm.

Prices are kept in the upper-reasonable zone, food and selection are great, and the outdoor seating is the best in Los Gatos. I especially enjoyed the braised short ribs, yum.

The food was AMAZING, the atmosphere is historic and gorgeous, and our server had it totally understand control in New Years madness. I just wish I had more left overs...

A friends band played on the patio and we had a good time. A beautiful historic building. Food portions are fairly small and prices are on the higher side. Its Los Gatos.

Love the ambience of this place! Great happy hour spot. Dinner can be pricey but great for special occasions. Plan to order appetizers as the main plates are small.

Service is good but food for the price isnt. Poached eggs of eggs Florentine is close to a soft boiled egg. Will stick to Los Gatos cafe for brunch.
