Honestly, best place for unlimited mimosas in San Jose! Its a very reasonable $10 for unlimited champies and OJ...service here is actually GOOD and servers are very upbeat. With most brunch spots, wait times can be horrendous but its been better here since they finished their re-model and opened up some more seating. Still...plan on waiting! Luckily, a quick stroll around Downtown Willow Glen makes the time go by fairly quickly. If you choose to hang out inside, theyll usually start you off on your unlimited mimosa early if you can get a counter spot by the bar! Food here is top notch! I had a couple different items here (the burger, chicken biscuits, chilaqules) and have always been satisfied by the taste and quality of the ingredients. However, portions are definitely on the small side! Im a big guy so everything is small to me, but my better half always finishes her meals here (where as other places, I always get to eat her leftovers later lol). Again, food is GREAT though. Havent been here for happy hour...but definitely shows promise now that they added the outdoor bar and patio. They got a good selection of craft beers and cocktails. Also nice how they have a late night spot too! So...bottom line? TRY OUT THE TABLE! I honestly found this place since the wait time at Bills was absurd and now its a regular on my list of places in SJ. CHECK IT OUT!

Pros: Cute brunch place in Willow Glen, with lots of other shops and restaurants nearby to walk around. As an added bonus, theres also a farmers market on Saturday mornings one block behind the restaurant. Great ambiance for people watching, especially if you sit outside on the patio. The food is, of course, delicious. We had the monkey bread to start (omg), the salmon eggs benedict, the beef lengua (special) and eggs with homemade sausage. The sausage was some of the best Ive ever had- a little kick but not too spicy, and a lean texture. Delicious. And it was huge! We had plenty to share. Our waiter was great- out of the three people in our group, at least two requested modifications or substitutions. He was super accommodating and took care of all our requests. As someone with dietary issues, this is always much appreciated. Cons: The parking in Willow Glen can be difficult since theres only a tiny lot in the back of the restaurant and the rest is street parking. It can also be a long wait on the weekends, but we arrived around 12:30 and were lucky enough to be seated in half an hour. Even with some logistical challenges, its nice to have a good brunch place nearby and not have to drive into the city. Highly recommend The Table.

So far as I can tell this is (still) the best restaurant in San Jose. Bone Marrow, Cauliflower, Scallops, Beef Cheeks are fine places to get started. In the mornings, Scottish eggs also are pretty great. Though I still wish there were more beers on tap. ---From 2014: Our server was Rachel, who was awesome, and she helped pick out and recommend some dishes. We really enjoyed the specials, all the dishes were good but some were very impressive: aj’s kimchee (Fantastic but pallet ruining), Roasted bone marrow, braised rabbit crepinette, asparagus, grilled hammer steak, and ricotta beignets being the best of the best. While not bad, and still reasonably good, I was not impressed by the clams or pot de crème au chocolate which, had we not ordered nearly the entire menu, would have left me disappointed with the experience. Especially considering how good the goat cheesecake and fried chick peas were. This was a great find. Some really good cocktails too, but I wish there was a bit more variety of beer on tap. If you like beer you can get by without issue, but youll wish there were a few more options. There are three, Id like at least 5.

I went there with a few friends for a Sunday brunch. I was expecting a really cool brunch place but was highly disappointed. A place with a great ambience but totally pathetic service and food. We had an initial wait for about 45 minutes and then when we finally got a table, it took almost another 10 mins for anyone to come to ask for what we want. Another 10 mins to get water, which was brought in cups that smelled heavily of eggs. We ordered coffee and OJ and a some dishes for our brunch. The food was just too pathetic. All the meat was extremely cold, biscuit was stale and even the hash browns that I had seemed like it was made a day before or so. Our server was in his own world and took almost forever to get all the food or coffee. You would imagine the food would be hot when it comes to you after waiting for so long, but it was as cold as it gets. I have to give them that the coffee and orange juice were the best I have had in quite some time.

Let me just start off by saying that if I could, Id probably come here once a week. Ive ordered multiple things off of their menu and I have never left unsatisfied. Their chilaquiles are nothing like my moms but theyre probably the best in San Jose. Their pancakes are every pancake lovers dream and their beignets are just the perfect finger foods. The only reason Im not giving this place a 5 star review is because their service is definitely a hit or miss. It sometimes takes them forever to approach your table for drinks, even on slow days. I had to approach someone after like 15 mins to grab our coffee. And once, the waiter spilled my cocktail and didnt offer to replace it. I mean, if Im paying $11 for a cocktail and you spill half of it, Id expect a new one.

I started writing this review in the restaurant starting with a 3 star rating solely based on the service at the beginning of brunch. However, after the entire experience they redeemed themselves and gained a 5 star rating as usual. Ive been to this restaurant several times over 2 years. Usually a great experience but today was very different. Service was subpar at best. We waited 18 mins before someone, other than the person pouring water, acknowledged our presence, and this is after we had to say something. The manager came over and took care of our table. After everything was said and done the service was swift and concise. We once again had a delicious brunch service at The Table. Thank you Bryan for redeeming our brunch experience!!

Ive been to The Table more than a dozen times now. The menu changes fairly regularly, and always has interesting items I havent seen elsewhere. In all the times Ive been there, I have never had a single dish that was less than stellar. Might sound like a stretch, but Im sticking to it. Drinks are also right up there. Ingredients are always fresh, local, and top notch. After having been there several times, my company hosted a dinner for about 25 at the big table. The service, meals, drinks, etc. where all what had come to expect. In summary - innovative, consistent, delicious, fresh. Rivals any restaurant in San Francisco or Portland. Fine, casual dining at its best.

Delicious, elegant comfort food and excellent brunch. To celebrate Mothers Day, my family made a reservation for 6 and was seated at three tables of various sizes that were pushed together upon our arrival. We were offered to change seats when something opened up, but the host never followed up. Our order taken after a long wait, the complimentary epi was forgotten until asked, the food took longer than usual, and the desserts were out of stock. I was disappointed by the poor experience for the occasion since my previous visits were better. Takeaway: Better for groups of less than 4 especially for the evening, dont count on reservations for priority/good seating
