I went in today to purchase a 16 piece family meal with a friend that lives in Antioch and I am a manager at a KFC. I acted like I was trying to apply there because I was planning on moving to Antioch and the manager there was really rude!! You can not talk in a disrespectful way to any customer regardless If the person works at a competition fast food place. I was a customer and as a customer I deserve some respect. I do not understand why people like this get a higher position if it all starts by having a great customer service! For being my first time going to the Popeyes and to get disrespected like this really just disappointed me. Come on Manager! Customer service always has to come first regardless of where the person works.

I prefer Popeyes Chicken over KFC. Popeyes chicken is more crispy and juicer but their chicken also are smaller. I also like the wide variety of other foods they have there. Their jambalaya are good for a quick fix, their cajun rice is tasty. I would stay away from their corn. The shrimp is excellent with their Blackened Cajun sauce. Their cajun catfish portion are pretty small; you get three strips size for $6.00 but nonetheless its very good. Expect a wait though.. this place is pretty busy and during busy time they can be a bit slow in frying chicken

I went through the drive thru. There were only 2 cars in front of me, yet it took 17 minutes for them to take my order! When I got to the order box they didnt greet me. They just said to wait a minute. That minute was actually 7 minutes. Ridiculous wait time for a fast food restaurant. I got to my destination to find that I didnt even get what I ordered. Super disappointed!

No matter what time of day you go thru the drive thru they never have chicken cooked. How can you be a chicken place and never have chicken ready. I always have to wait. KFC is much better about that. On a good note they got people with better personalities at the drive thru window now.

The wait time is ridiculous. Maybe theyre cooking the chicken from scratch. The people working in there work so slow, they look like zombies. I give it 2 stars because the food was good for fast food fried chicken. The pieces of chicken are pretty small.

This is good place, is nice and clean, food y great I give 2 stars because the people is rude they have the restroom lock and the waiting time is long! P.D. I get a 3 pieces meal combo when I ask for ranch they told me I have to paid 29 cents!!

They have a nice dining room! But a very odd drive thru. I love their food, especially the chicken strips with red beans and rice! They struggle with consistency a bit ... but overall a good experience!

Man i love popeyes ... this place leaves some things to be desired in the drive thru and the customer service .. my advice about this place is to go rather than the drive thru because it takes forever

Just finished ordering from this location after being turned away at Pittsburg Popeyes, what a difference of night and day! Chicken is hot and fresh and worker taking order was polite and efficient.

The staff here is rude, they do not take orders on phone. Plus the waiting time here is just way too long, I dont recommend this place at all. Also theres no air conditioner in 100° degree weather.

Terrible, I used drive thru, ordered butterfly shrimp, they were so hard I had to use 2 hands to break them apart. I recognize near closing time, but no excuse for serving cold hard leftovers.

So apparently no matter if its the new location in Oakley or this Antioch location they are beyond slow in the drive-thru. Food is fine taste great but the service is where is lacking
