I first tried this restaurant when I moved into the area in 2007. First impression was poor. The food quality was mediocre and the taste was poor in comparison to Asian food Ive eaten at other restaurants. I went back in early 2010 after hearing there was new ownership and the food was much better. Unfortunately a friend and I went back last week--July, 2011, and the food was terrible. We should have been fore-warned when the fried egg roll skins placed on the table as an appetizer/soup accompaniment appeared very well done. The color was so dark it was almost brown. We ordered the lunch specials--beef with broccoli and shrimp in lobster sauce. My friend was very upset with her food. She said it tasted terrible (she wound up giving her left overs to her dogs at home). I found only 3 pieces of shrimp in my dish. I called the manager (owner?) over and asked about it. She said there should be 6. 15 minutes later she begrudgingly brought me 3 overcooked boiled shrimp to add to the dish. Not only did they look unappetizing, they had no flavor and the texture did not match those in the ordered selection. Although this is the closest Chinese restaurant to our home, we will never go back there.

The restaurant is very clean and nice looking but the service was horrible we stood in the main entry waiting to be sat for about 10 minutes and they were NOT busy at all. 3 different people came by got drinks answered the phone and none of them even acknowledged that we were standing there. When we were seated we just sat and waited and someone came put water on the table and walked away a few minutes later they came and asked if we wanted something else to drink other than water we ordered our soda and our food at the same time. They brought our soup and they didnt come back to the table until they brought the food and then just walked away. There was a piece of hair in my soup and we never got our sodas that we ordered. And compared to other Chinese food restaurants we have been to the price was way high for the amount of food they brought.

Im just not sure what to think about this place. They first sit me down and disappear, I figured it was because lunch was ending so they wanted me to order a dinner. Thankfully this was not the case. Their lunch menu is very small for a Chinese restaurant, though the rest of the menu has lots of choices. The place wasnt dirty but you could tell they didnt spend their spare time cleaning. The decor is okay, a little cluttered though. The egg drop soup had allot of oil on the surface and the fried rice tasted like it was made yesterday. My main dish needed seasoning, it was too bland for my taste. Im not sure I would come back because the reviews here show they have had several years to get it right and have not listened to the public.

If I can give less than 1 star I would lets just,say I came here today never again the service was horrible the lady never not once checked on us only when it was no food left and after I paid I thought about giving a tip maybe thinking she had a bad day after her being so Rude to me signed my receipt as I was walking out she came after me demanding a tip and called me a name and I walked out I only gave the stupid Lady a 2.0p tip she was the worst server I ever had and I never say anything mean about anyone

The food was PLAIN, prices HIGH but its the service thats off putting, socially inept, even militant could be used to describe the wait staff there, not your warm and friendly types, too busy driving their personal agenda down your throat, they loose touch of what their purpose there is, to serve the public.

Good old fashion family ran restaurant terrific service clean and outstanding food you must try the curry coconut chicken with brown rice or white very good thanks guys, the also have delivery service which will come to your door hot just like the restaurant thanks again terrific job Thanks Ken

The Hostess was a very nice woman. Thats the only redeeming value about this post. The food is probably well suited for the location they are in. No flavor and dull. For 11.95 you get a small portion of rice and equally small portions of lo mein and your entree. Why throw in two bbq wings?

The soup was ok and hot. The food arrived shortly after and was hot, but couldnt really eat it as it was so salty. Was hoping for it to be good as it is so close to home rather than having to travel to other yummy Chinese restaurants. Needless to say, will NOT returning here!!!

First timer, Great food. Egg Roll awesome...almost as good as in Detroit, been 35 years since Ive had one this good! Everything delicious but I think we...and they...forgot the beef on the PUPU Platter? Looking forward to going back.

Food seemed from the day before. I ordered from the dinner special since they couldnt replace and charge more just for one item, and even so the main dish was super small and plate was filled with rice. Not good at all.

Well the food was great, but the customer service was sub par and I took them a while to get to us. My suggestion for management is get more employees. This place was a nice place to come eat and very relaxing.

Person on the phone was rude and the one who delivered was not friendly nor smiling, given tip didnt even know how to say thank you . Wont recommend it and wont order no more! Arrogant looking people.

Best dim sum in town!Their Honey Walnut Shrimp is also spectacular. Everything they offer is authentic, Hong Kong style but without the attitude. Service here is competent, businesslike but friendly.

We love Chang Lees! Have always done takeout. Food is prepared fresh & very yummy & more than we can eat at one time. Havent had anything we didnt like! Staff friendly and prompt.

Delicious. Loved the pork fried rice and pork egg rolls! Sweet and sour sauce is rather "thick" but tasty Ask for extra.
