We got a coupon flyer in the mail for 25% off our entire meal so we decided to give Sun Asian Kitchen on Baseline Road a try. We were greeted by a hostess who we specifically asked "can we use this coupon right now?" and she said yes. We were seated and we again confirmed with the server "can we use this coupon for our order tonight?" Like the hostess, she said yes and proceeded to show us the happy hour menu. The happy hour menu prices were excellent, so we decided to entirely order from the happy hour menu. Everything was pretty good for the price, the food came out pretty fast and the sushi was fresh. Our total bill came to $20 before the coupon was applied. When we went to pay, suddenly the server said "the coupon is not good for happy hour menu items." We argued with her that we had specifically asked her and the hostess about using the coupon, and that they had both said yes. She pointed to the coupon where it said "not valid with any other offer." We did NOT take that to mean not valid for happy hour, like they were now trying to apply - plus we had asked before ordering, and she should have said something when we started ordering happy hour menu items. We asked her to get the manager, and she said if we wanted to speak with the manager that we would have to go up to the bar. We asked her if she was sure the manager couldnt come over, and she said yes. We found that pretty rude. We went up to the bar and like the server, the manager said the coupon was not valid for happy hour items. We told her if she couldnt honor the coupon as the hostess and server had confirmed as valid, then we would not return. She did not care, obviously she was not thinking about profit in the long term and just wanted the immediate gratification of our $20. We will not return! Customer service is AWFUL here and much of the staff barely speaks English which may have led to the confusion.

Went in during my lunch hour with a couple of co-workers – after ordering the vegetable Lo Mein I was brought out a chicken Lo Mein. Minutes after advising my server he ran out and looked at the table next to us where an elder woman was chomping on my vegetable Lo Mein. The server for the other table came out and explained to the elderly woman she had been eating the incorrect plate and removed it from her grasp. NO LIE: Moments later my server walks out with the (I believe) same plate the elderly woman was just slopping up! I asked if it was the same one the lady was just eating and the server said, “let me check”. Let me check?! REALLY?! He then brought the plate back to the kitchen and came out moments later to advise me that they were going to make me a new one. OMG! Did that just happen?! Of course they’re going to make me a new one! Did they really think I would say, “Oh don’t worry! I’ll eat off the same plate Grandma Jones was just eating off!”? Note: I will never go back!

I discovered Sun Asian Kitchen when I was searching for a Chinese restaurant in an unfamiliar area . I thought to myself, who would know of a good place to grab a quick bite to eat, the answer was simple, my fellow "yelpers" and my fellow "yelpers" were right Sun Asian Kitchen was a nice little find. From the time we entered the restaurant and received a warm welcome to the "Please come again" as we left out experience was very pleasant. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes wuch includes lunch and dinner specials. All the food is fresh and excellent tasting, and the portions are large, I mean really large. You get a great deal for your money! The barbecue pork and noodles, egg rolls, and egg drop soup were really very good. The service is very fast and friendly. Sun Asian Kitchen has both booths and tables and they have take out.

We had the Mongolian beef, Szechuan chicken and an egg roll. The beef was amazing as was the egg roll, but I had to take off a star for the chicken which had good veggies but the meat itself tasted a bit stale. The atmosphere was good. But at least on the weekend, there were a few things that were missing - no lunch specials and many of the little extras that seem to come with other places are extra here. The food cam with white rice and the portions were right on - not too big, maybe just a touch on the small side (but then again Im a big fella so Im used to more!) Overall Im definitely going to be back to try the other dishes.

Poor customer service.... Called and asked did they deliver, the lady told me yes. 15 min later called back with my order, same lady told me only carry out.. Then proceeded to argue with me that I am wrong and called hrs previous and asked for delivery to different area (which was just a block away)... then told me they do deliver however they are short on drivers when I told her I could wait on a driver, she then started to stutter and tremble upon her lies and state that all drivers leave at 8 & laughed at me.... I did not order here and will not... SMH!

Ordered chicken on skewers for take out. Looking to try a new place and wanting a lean protein stopped here to give a try. Was chicken on a skewer but was small 1/2 inch cubes fried. I was expecting grilled. I could tell from looking at it was going to be dry.It was extremly dry. Took two bites and threw all six skewers away. It was the worse ever hot greasy and dry with no chicken flavor. Not sure if I will give them another chance. Something might be good here but pretty worried to try again. Are there repeat cutomers out there? If so. What dish??

Food is delicious.Its probably my third time going their never experience this before or known of any changes... But be careful I got my receipt showing a tip with the server writing saying its 15% and wrote to the total amount even though I was going to give her more than what she had wrote. So I spoke to the the lady up front explaining that it wasnt right to indicate the amount themselves because I couldve gave her more. The lady up front was being honest and said she shouldve not done that. Really!!!!

Ive been coming here for years. With the guys after work or at a family night out. Its great either way! Today was good I didnt get my usual server but the service was good none the less. I was with my two little boys"old enough to behave" but they do accommodate smaller children if needed. We started with some appetizers and didnt have room for a main dish! Everything was great and food, service and prices.

They have some good food, the service could use some improvement. But they are very quick to get you seated. They quickly got drinks and food out but after the food was servied they did not come back to the table until every one was done eating. Then they came quickly to give the check. Then once we got up they quickly cleaned the table. It could have just been the day but still a good overall experience
