I had the pleasure of trying out the Perfect Pear off Chandler / Desert Foothills. Seriously, this is a great place for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere where one could really enjoy the company if they brought a friend along. There is an option to dine outdoors as well. The portions that I had for lunch were great. Im the type that will finish my plate, so I need places that focus on great tasting food and not a mountain of calories in an attempt to provide a lot of value for money spent. I chose the Black Tea. Just completely blown away. So refreshing. I was going to ask for the brand so I could make it at home. Best Iced Tea offered at a restaurant for me. (wish I had a gallon of it right now). I had the cuban sandwich. Great taste and perfect combination/ratio of pork / pickle / and mustard on their toasted marbled bread. The side, I chose their snap pea salad. I get snap peas a lot for snacks. The ones you get at the grocery store always have a few bad ones and even get some that are rubbery. Not here. I was surprised at their quality of snap peas. (why cant the grocery stores provide the same quality repeatedly?) And the little cranberries just really completed the salad. EVERY server was attentive and all smiles. They appeared to be fully staffed, even though it was a Thursday afternoon. My drink was refilled by different people, so it appears they share responsibilities. Food came out relatively fast, but nothing was skipped in quality. I chose to dine inside, but outside would have been a great choice as well. The beverages menu looked like a great place to go have a drink with friends. I think if you had a business meeting, this would be a great spot. If you have not tried them, it is one of my highest recommendations that I could give.

I have a dietary restriction (no fiber) that is not well suited here. They are geared towards vegetarian/vegan oriented, in order for me to eat here I have to special order with several items removed from the dish, or order the mac n cheese. None of the dishes are appealing to me after removing all of the fiber items, so Ive instead chosen to order the mac n cheese. Weve eaten here 3 times and Ive ordered the mac n cheese each time, and been disappointed each time. The 1st time I could only eat the small amount that actually had cheese sauce on it. I asked our server for additional cheese sauce and was told "I dont know, let me see if they can microwave some more for you." That was a huge red flag for me - "microwave" should never come out of a servers mouth, even if its true. The next 2 times I ordered it with "lots" of extra cheese and there was more cheese sauce, but their sauce tastes exactly like Velveeta brand cheese and that isnt a flavor I expect from a sit-down restaurant. All 3 of our visits were in the first 18 months of opening, and I want to stress that the mac n cheese dish could have been improved since then.

I love the food! There is one particular staff member that has horrible customer service. I called to place a to-go order for the first time couldnt remember which pasta I liked she rushed me off the phone telling me "we have two pastas, do you want it spicy or not". I asked if she would read the menu description for me ... she wouldnt. I had to drive to the restaurant to place my order in person. I kindly told her the difference... that one is a rigatoni and the other is a linguine. She say quickly "yeah but they have the same toppings on them" and walked away. I stood there quietly in shock at how rude she was after about 5 min, another server approach me and took my to go order. This was my first negative experience prior to this Ive always had a good experience and the food is absolutely delicious I truly hope the one rude staff member with horrible customer service doesnt run another customer away.

Although its the finest new restaurant addition, IMHO, for the Ahwatukee community and one Id want to frequent often. Whats amiss is that all but roughly one salad, pasta, or signature sandwich--Ive now tried nearly all--is riddled or topped or tossed with cheese, be it Goat, Romano, gorgonzola, or feta. So much cheese covers up flavors of items that would be better without the cheese and perhaps topped with toasted nuts. Twice menu items with listed ingredients were missing them, such as zucchini, mushrooms or arugula. Cook staff should be made more aware of menu ingredients. Restaurant owner, please consider using nuts or not putting cheese in practically everything. In the meantime, Ill have to request omission of cheese or else cheese on the side.

Food is good. The owners are great people. However, tonight our waitress was beyond rude. We got there at about 8:50 (ten minutes before the closed). That is normally the time we get there due to our work schedules. Waitress was rude from the beginning. When I got my order the plate looked half empty so when I asked the server if it came with anthing she yelled " you come here enough you should know" At first I thought she was kidding but she wasnt. Long story short, employees here dont like it when you come after 8:45. She accused me of laughing at her because other tables came in late also and told me that she had to go home because she had a babysitter waiting. Sad, food is delicious but we will not be returning here.

We always have a positive experience at Perfect Pear and feel lucky to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood. There are so many delicious options, theres something for everyone! A few of our familys faves are Tonis Perfect Pasta with added chicken, the buffalo blue cheese cauliflower on the happy hour menu and the always yummy cobbler for dessert. Cant go wrong with their different grilled cheese choices as well. Definitely thankful to have so many wonderful, delicious options that Perfect Pear offers here in the Foothills!

My first time in this restaurant which is in a great location with views of surrounding nature and mountains. The menu reflects healthy Mediterranean dishes which are delicious and are served in a relaxed atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant serves all types of drinks and has its own Happy Hours. It also has the required possibilities to provide the convenience of access and all that is needed to offer a great service to their clients. One feels like going back there again and again.

Atmosphere is casual but very pleasant. Service wasnt bad but not very attentive. There were five of us; three had pasta dishes that were decent but not more than that; one also had a very watery New England clam chowder. A fourth had a salad with salmon; the salmon was overcooked and the avacado was two big slices on top of the salad, instead of being cut into pieces and incorporated into the salad. My salad was very good, but everyone elses dish was just okay.

CHIPOTLE CHEESE BREAD was really nice to start, ample for two. Really love the Green Chili Mac cavatappi, add sausage and with the already included bacon, a cheesy creamy meaty dish, large serving. Gotta try something else, but its hard because its soo good. Local proprietors, friendly service. Go local!
