The first time I went to this location it was the worst experience by far and pretty embarrassing at that. I took my 9 yr old son for $0.49 wing night. After we went through about 35 wings... Very small wings at that... they told me that if I got a take home box for my sons left overs that they would have to charge me regular full price for all the wings. Ive never heard of that at any other Native New Yorker. My son turned and said to me, "it doesnt make any since dad, why cant we take the rest of our food that we paid for home in a box", the only thing I could respond with was, "Im not sure son, it seems to me that theyre desperate for more money. Long story short, one of the servers saw it, came over and slid me a box for my sons food and said, "sorry about that, I dont understand that rule either". I tried this place once again with my wife and family who were out here visiting from Chicago. I hoped that it would have been a better experience this time around but it was worst. The Server was very rude and strict and really seemed like she was mad because we were only there for the wing special. My wife ordered 30 wings on her tab and a drink, my cousin and his wife on the other side of the table ordered 40 wings and fries and 1 drink. She instantly turned to me in a very disrespectful manner an said, "in order for you to eat with them at this table you have to buy a drink or the wings will be regular full price". Everyone at the table looked very confuse on why I had to buy a drink but what I responded with was "ok fine I wont eat, Ill just sit here". The whole time I sat there all the servers had eyes on me watching to see if I ate with them, of course I did... Im a grown man but anyway... I really wouldnt recommend this Native New Yorker to anyone simply because of the service and vey petty rules they apply to get more money.

Greeted by an older lady with a red face asking me very loudly what my name is. So I tell her my name, she grabs a few menus and just walks away. The other hostess looks embarrassed, asks me how many and takes me to our table. Order a beer on tap and theyre out of it. We go through 2 more beers on the menu before I order a vodka drink. I ordered 6 traditional wings and a topper burger w fries. My guests order the strippers meal and 12 traditional wings. Also ordered the sampler platter. The sampler comes out and its so so. My guests comment about it being sub par but we eat it. Entrees take quite a while and come out cold. Burger was dry, cold, and the pork on it was hard. Pretty sure it had been microwaved in its life. Wings are dry and cold. Not a good wings place. The dry rub wings arent good either, theyre very dry especially cold. Strippers were just "OK". Both my guests comment again, we should have sent it back. We all agree its not worth the fuss. Our waitress was really nice. No complaints there. Only reason I give it two stars. Id say it would be a good place to go have a few drinks but theyre out of so many good beers. Dont recommend this place at all. I used to love these places when they were called The Native New Yorker. Now theyre no good at all. When Floyd died I guess so did this company.

On multiple, previous visits, Ive consistently experienced the following. I realize this is not fine dining - here are my recommendations; Hostesses should greet customers with a smile and enthusiasm - not an inmature (sneering & rolling of the eyes) attitude, because social time comingling with co-workers has been interrupted, when one decides to patronize their establishment; Servers could be more sensitive of customer needs, observant of simple details like silverware and napkins missing from the table, refilling a drink when appropriate, delivering FOOD (or a check for that matter) in a timely fashion. On the plus side... Native is not fast- food, a rarity for Maricopa dining options. Keeping in mind Natives casual atmosphere (Sports Bar & Grill) catering to a younger crowd, staffed by such, the food is not bad... Their burgers taste like ground ribeye - awesome flavor. Im not sure if they market and bottle their barbecue sauce, if not they should, it has a mild, sweet, tangy, smoky flavor profile that is beyond good!

I love Native New Yorker. I HATE this location. I called tonight with a coupon that was mailed to us for a 14" cheese pizza and 24 wings. I called in for carry out and told her I had a coupon and what it was for. She asked me how I would like my pizza. I wasnt sure what she meant since the coupon was for a cheese pizza, so I asked her what my options were. Then in a very rude tone she told me that she didnt know what coupon I was talking about. I read it to her again. Then she told me that the total came out to $30 even though the coupon was for $19.49. She said they would adjust it after I got there. When I got there and handed them the coupon they charged my $25. It turns out they keyed it into the system wrong and now I will have two pending amounts on my bank account for a few days. I think that wouldnt have been so frustrating if the girl on the phone wasnt so rude to me. If she hates her job so much, she should just quit.

Terrible, slow service each time i have been there 3 x in 3 months. This was the last time tonight service slow, i ordered the Native Burger with fries medium , pepper cheese i get well done American cheese sitting at the bar , bartenders joking around didnt even ask or check if my food was correct. I got the check finally (i was asked if i wanted more to drink or anything else but Not how the food was ) So i told the bartender as i left she said sorry about that. What not doing her job. Plus apparently even if there are 2 or more behind the bar the one who first greets will be the only one waiting on you. When she gets to you. I told her i wouldnt return she said sorry about that. REALLY? She needs to be trained in hospitality or find something else. But no matter my money will be spent elsewhere. 2 thumbs down.

The first two times I went here, it took over 20 minutes from the time we requested the check until it actually arrived, and the place was pretty empty. Saw our server stop twice to have personal conversations with some other customers, who I would assume were regulars. The second time I actually had to go ask the manager for our check so we could leave. Just tried to order some food to go, hoping to bypass their subpar service. Every time I tried to order, it came back "card declined", even though all the cards I tried had no balance on them. I tried to call in my order, and the person answering the phone was short and rude. When I tried to pay by credit card, I was told I would have to bring the card in person to pay that way. Not very convenient as I am home sick, and someone was doing me a favor to pick up the food for me.
