We are only giving this business 1 star because at least 1 is required to post a review. Our company orders $300-$400 orders 3-4 times a week from The Place and have been for several years. The service has continuously declined, and has gotten to the point where when we call in to place our order, the girls who answer the phone hang up and refuse to take our order. We understand they may not be excited about having to write down a large order, but it is their job and they should do it without complaint. When asked to speak to a manager, we were transferred to Ryan who said he is the General Manager and the owners son. He claimed it was just a phone issue theyve been having lately (we didnt have any "phone issues" once we addressed that) and we started to place our order. Ryan refused to have the hostess write the names of the individuals on their orders (they do it every time we order, because it is difficult to differentiate whose breakfast is whose when it is being ordered for 20 employees). He said it is too much of a "pain in the a**" to write the names on the orders and that he will not have his employees do it. He refused to give me the information I needed to contact the owners or whoever is in charge and insisted he himself was the only person I could speak with. We will be taking our business elsewhere moving forward, and they will be losing about $1,600 a week in revenue due to their poor attitude, and their need to be lazy over doing their most important job which is treating their loyal customers kindly and respectfully.

Today was the first time my wife and I have eaten at this Mike and Rondas. I first must say, thank God they have a large parking lot, cause this place has people walking to the doors in droves! When you get in, the place has all the feel of a mom n pops style restaurant in Prescott or Flagstaff, just on a larger scale. There is tons of standby seating space while you wait for a seat...which you will wait for. The wait is an average of about 20 minutes, and they move people through quite efficiently. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I ordered the special of the day, the Spicy Sausage Omelet, with diced potatoes and rye toast. The omelet was a hearty 3 egg omelet with a delicious dinner style sausage, onion, bell pepper, and swiss cheese. It was bursting with flavors that complimented each other very well, and was very filling. Now, for the Benedict.....woah ho ho! That was the show stealer! Crispy English muffin topped with seared Canadian bacon, 2 poached eggs, and a Hollandaise sauce thats so fresh, and silky, bursting with bright flavor. My wife is a tiny girl, and let me say that Ive never seen her so focused on her meal as I did today. There was almost no dialogue due to her sheer satisfaction with the food. Needless to say, we will absolutely through this place into our weekend breakfast rotation! Great Job Mike and Rondas! Tip: If youre a couple and want to save a little $$, ask for the worst seat in the house and youll save 10% on your meal.

Portion sizes galore! My boyfriend and I go here as often as we can. We are on the other side of town so its not as often as Id like but its a treat every time. First things first, lets talk biscuits and gravy. These things are HUGE. Each biscuit is homemade and about the size of your fist. You get 2 of them per order. I can barely finish one myself. The hash browns are probably some of the best Ive ever had and I only have touse salt and pepper on them. Truly delicious. We get the Meat and Eggs meal and we split it between my Boyfriend and myself and both leave completely satisfied. There is always a line there on weekend mornings but dont let it discourage you! it goes rather quickly and the lobby of The Place is comfortable and cozy, so settle right in! The waitresses are attentive and will refill your coffee for you before you even realize it needs a refill! Best part? If youre coming in a group of two, you may be so lucky enough to get "the worst seat in house" (seriously, its a thing). This is a table for two tucked in the corner and though there isnt much space, it is very cozy and you willg et a 10% discount off your bill if you sit here! Its kind of difficult to find consistently good breakfast places in the valley but The Place has done a fine job of keeping my business time and time again, and many more to come! Not a huge breakfast food fan? SOK, they have lunch items too!

Unfortunately they need to rethink their system! I arrived as a single and I go to sit at the bar and a spot opens up as I had asked the busboy are those spots reserved and he said no he said Ill clean up this spot for you! So I sit down and I feel tap of my shoulder and somebody tells me theyve been waiting for this spot let me remind you Im a single its a single seat the rest of the bars full and this is two people! Then Im informed that theres a line waiting to sit at the bar with no wait list. So two people are going to sit at one seat and hope that a seat on the left or the right open up for them! Then Im informed theres two adults and one child also waiting to sit at the bar once again theres no wait list. So I kindly oblige get up and move and the man stands behind the woman as if they can order food and eat in hopes that a spot will open up on the right or the left of them but if a single opens up somewhere else the three people were going to have one person sit there and 2 stand behind in hope that seats next to them open up WTH! That is a pour system ! Its breakfast with a bar not a bar with breakfast! Rethink it thats really pour managing! Start a list for the bar simple ! The couple that I let have the seat I bet he is still standing behind his wife ! As the people on the left and right didnt look to done anytime soon! #FirstTimeIHaveLeftaNegativeReviewEver Sorry Mike and Ronda

I usually love this place and visit here at least once a week with a friend for breakfast. Today I ordered my usual "Build your own omelet " meat (bacon) on the side. Always this has never been a problem, my meal comes just as I like it with a whole strip bacon on the side. Today however, I was informed by my server that I would be charged for a side of bacon if I wanted it whole? What? She insisted that whom ever was serving me whole bacon in the past surely didnt have a job at The Place any longer. If i wanted the build your own with the meat on the side it HAD to come chopped up. Again....WHAT!?? Is your bacon so precious that someone would lose a job over it? So after arguing with me and insisting I was mistaken that Ive never had my bacon come whole I told her whatever bring me chopped up bacon. Really? So disappointed in customer service. Im glad you paid someone to chop up my bacon for me. Ill eat bacon whole OR chopped because its BACON of course, who wouldnt?I mean, No brainer there...shame on you however for trying to charge me for something my meal already included and then arguing with me about it. Not sure Ill be back considering Ive seen a decline in customer service here. Treating your patrons with respect means more to me than your big biscuits. Im looking for food not a fight. Tisk,tisk...
