Great dining all week long! Located in a remote area near hotel row by SLC airport--there is VERY LITTLE to choose from as far as eating options go. I was at the Fairfield Inn on business without a car for a week. Luckily Perkins is attached; I ate there (carry out) everyday. This type of diner isnt something I would typically frequent but like other reviewers I was pleasantly surprised and felt compelled to review it. Salad greens are fresh and a good size for the price. Chicken pot pie is as good as homemade; the crust is buttery and flaky. The Chicken Supreme sandwich is yummy (try it with pepper jack cheese). The french fries are thick steak style fries, very crispy and flavorful. Creamy tomato soup and the Chicken noodle soup are both very good and taste like homemade. I also had the Baked Potato soup and it was OK (a little grainy) not one of my favorites. Apple muffins for breakfast are yummy, moist and smell fantastic. I think this location does a lot of carry out business and lucky for the guests staying at nearby hotels they will find great food and nice staff at this Perkins Cafe.

The food is great but, how is that every single morning I come here I pay a different price each and every time I come here? I get the exact same thing each and every time. I come here 2 to 3 times a week for the breakfast. I order the tremendous 12 replace the pancakes with French toast and, take the eggs out and, get 1 extra piece of bacon and 1 extra piece of sausage. I always get the French toast because a women theyre suggested to get out this way cause its cheaper great! I do it that way call it in if that women isnt working Uh oh looks like Im gonna be charged 4 dollars more? Now that doesnt make sense. Some times Ill pay 9 or, 10 then other times theyll say 13? How is that even possible. Such a shame cause the breakfast is good. Just depends on who takes your order. Thats definitely not fair to a very loyal customer to charge different for the exact same thing.

Cooks complained a lot. "Dont answer the phone, let it ring" "F this" "Im watching the clock, cant wait to lock the doors", "they cant fire us both". Sounded like they were short handed, but the customers shouldnt suffer because of it or feel bad about coming. Food was dying on the hot plate. If we didnt have to pay up front, we wouldve just went somewhere else. The server lady was very nice under all the pressure of answering phones, taking orders, serving food, and wiping tables. I love Perkins one of my favorite places to eat this one however sucks terribly dont waste your money I just wasted $15 and now I have to go somewhere else to eat. The girl behind the counter spoke so quietly I could barely hear her my toast was burnt my eggs were overdone and my sausage was under cooked. And they literally didnt even spread the f****** butter on my bread they threw for hunks of butter on 4 pieces of toast and sandwich them together how f****** lazy can you be?! SERIOUSLY DO NOT TRY AND EAT HERE ITS A JOKE

The pancakes taste like crap [literally]. The pancakes, at that location, taste like fecal material mixed into substandard pancake mix...it was very disgusting. Also, the grassy areas around the restaurant are riddled with dog poop. [I hope both atrocious phenomena are not related] I was so shocked that I sent the restaurant feedback, especially since those pancakes came with a birthday coupon meal.

Over priced, small portions for the money, a small bowl of soup $4 dollars, food and service not too good, and they dont even take your order at the table, people has to place order at the cashier and they charge you for food in advance, very inconvenient, not coming back to a perkins restaurant. !!!!!

Its a chain restaurant except you have to order at the counter. The cashier wasnt very friendly nor was she good at handing change back. Food was alright but meh. For a chain restaurant is give them a 3 but on a personal level I dont think Id ever go back so yall get a 2.

This is a sit down restaurant where you first have to order at the counter. The lady that took the order and served to us was rude. We were polite with smiles, please and thank you but she responded with an ah-huh. I love the Perkins chain. I dont like this location.

Food quality was well below Perkins usual standards (which arent super high to start). Also, this is a self or counter-service restaurant, unlike most other Perkins locations that have table service. I would never go back.

I got the Tangler Burger with fries. When I was ordering I thought $9.99 was a little steep, but it turns out the burger was quite large and the serving of fries was generous. It all tasted good.

I had a everything Omelet with no ham. It was really yum in taste. Its jus took 5mins for them to serve it to the table... It will be my favorite place for breakfast in Salt Lake City.
