I will go back. Despite my first unimpressive and unexceptional first visit I plan to go back. Why? The food presentation, the concept of food combinations, staff and the overall restaurant appeal or ambience. This restaurant has a good vibe. Wow, I just used the word "vibe" to describe the feeling I get from this restaurant. There are subtle tweaks that need to be made from kitchen to table, that, if made will solidify this place as an Arizona favorite. First Watch has that kind of potential. I did complete their survey to share my experience and did get an email response, apology and an offer. I will visit again and write a review of my culinary experience. Im looking forward to seeing the improvements. Oh, by the way, First Watch is family friendly. I really enjoyed seeing the moms and dads with their children. It was a beautiful thing.

Not Pleased... I was there today..The servers are usually pretty nice at the other location I frequently go to (on Black Canyon Highway)... But our server at this location (Monica) was not friendly at all. We were there celebrating one friend leaving and my birthday and she just made us feel like we annoyed her. She also brought me burnt potatoes that went with my meal and when I sent it back and request new potatoes.. She brought new ones and in a condescending way asked if I liked these better. Then, finally after we had all eaten, we asked her if she could take our picture.. She flat out said no and had another server do it... I get having a bad day.. We all have them from time to time but woman (Monica) was just RUDE!!!

First off I want to start off by saying their food was excellent per usual. The reason I am leaving ⭐⭐⭐ is due to the service my wife and I received. I believe our servers name was Mary(had to look on receipt as she never told us). She really needs some more training on basic server etiquette she was very rude and short with us. Before we would be able to finish asking her a question she would walk off in a hurry and it wasnt busy at all. When our food was ready (which was very quickly, props to the kitchen) she just dropped it off and left not even asking if there was anything we needed. Like i said before, rude.

Wow, first and last time Im coming here. Atmosphere was pretty nice... And that was it. Waitress checked on my party once shortly after our food was delivered, gave us the check and left us be until she picked up our plates. I had one glass of orange juice. She never offered me a refill or anything else to drink aside from the one bottle of water she gave my girlfriend. My girlfriends pancakes were borderline still doughy in the middle and the over hard egg on my sandwich was CRUNCHY almost a 1/2" all the way around. Just a sorry excuse for a breakfast joint.

After going to the the first watch on freeway and Dunlap area, I couldnt wait to try the one by me for breakfast. Food was still good, but service was really poor. Not busy on a Sunday morning at 8, but waitress kept asking every minute if we are ready to order. It is a varied menu, we wanted time to look, but she didnt get hint of when we are still looking at the menu, maybe we are not ready yet. Very annoying! Then when food came out, we needed her attention for syrup. Good luck, didnt get it until I finished my omelet! Food was good though.

Our Waitress was very nice! Hostess was RUDE. Did you know they have call ahead seating? Well we didnt! 30min wait, ha, no try an hour ridiculous! Got to table looked around & there were at least 5 empty tables and it is NOT a big place. Also they took away the seating outside front because God forbid they would have to hire more staff. Then food seemed to take forever. Waitress was VERY apologetic! Felt sorry for her. Manager was at register she was apologetic also. Realize its healthy food but really eggs with a salad????? Probably wont be back.

Really surprised by their updated menu. Ive been here off and on for several years. They appear to have gone through a rebranding. They are now serving many more healthy and organic options. Although it is a chain, it is getting high stars for its efforts. The service was a bit slow (1 star deducted)... otherwise spot on.

I had breakfast yesterday morning and the server brought me a dirty water cup that looked like a Bugar or something on it.when the food came it was cold and not very appetizing I tried expressing this to the manager but was completely brushed off. Would not suggest this location to anyone after the service I received

Used to be the good egg and changed to First watch we were there the first week it changed over and they had a more traditional style breakfast which was really good. I get the health aspect of things but healthy doesnt have to mean flavourless, the Happy Valley area lacks a good down home breakfast spot.

I quite enjoyed there breakfast menu. It is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual mundane options and much healthier too. It is delicious and served promptly rather than cold or like it was under a heat lamp. I will definitely be returning. *I like the water pitcher. Its a nice touch.

Disappointing meal. We experienced cold potatoes, over cooked eggs, slow delivery of our food and a soggy club sandwich. Fast food would have tasted better. Update: when leaving I talked with the manager and she gave us a discount and encouraged us to come back and try them again.

DISGUSTING! All of our food was undercooked. Mushy French toast, nasty undercooked microwaved bacon & hard potatoes. Long wiat time with several noticibly vacant tables. Will not eat here again. Seems they cant handle being busy.

Never ever coming back, manager was not there. Iced tea wasnt filled up. Server rushed us out and cashier was extremly rude. The menu has changed, not happy at all. Rather go to U.S Egg. You all just lost regulars.

Normally this place is ok but today on Inauguration day I wore a 45th presidential hat and the waitress treated me and my family like garbage. Probably will not be back after that. The food is hit and miss anyway..

This location used to be The Good Egg until First Watch bought them. The menu has largely stayed the same but the ingredients seems to be slightly better even though the prices have remained reasonable.

Service was so-so. Had to flag down another waitress other then ours to get water refills and waited along time for food. No comparison to original First Watches we have been to. Very disappointed.

I like the menu that they have. Their lunch is great and the portions were just right. The place was busy and understaffed but everyone was working hard and it didnt take long to receive our meal.

Great tasting food and a fun atmosphere. Not the fastest service, and prices seemed a bit high. There is a large variety of food though, which makes it a great place for a group. Worth a visit.

Loved it. Perfect after mountain biking. Egg white omelet with chilis, black beans, jack cheese, cilantro. Delicious and nutritious! Service was friendly and smiling. Great breakfast.
