Oh my goodness! WOW. today is our 48th anniversary. We decided to stay local which is very limiting in Maricopa, AZ. The Arroyo Grille tonight was amazing from the shrimp cocktail to the chicken breast with bread pudding with truffles. My mouth is happy. Rick said the Italian steak was fabulous and the twice baked potatoes are unlike any other - melt in your mouth good - even got some to go.

Arroyo is one of Maricopas best dining options. I think people forget that it is out there or think of Southern Dunes only for golfing. The most recent Chef at Arroyo has made some excellent menu choices - the Shrimp Saute is my favorite restaurant meal in Maricopa. However, the appetizers are great as well. If you havent tried dinner at Arroyos you are missing out.

Ive lived in Maricopa for 10 years. Ive tried to go to this place twice and both times I was turned away because I didnt have a "reservation". I was always told this is a friendly place and you can just walk in and order. Nope, I was told they were reservations only that day for whatever reason and the place was had maybe 3 tables taken. Will never try to go back again.

The food here is SO good! The chef really knows what hes doing. They always have a good draft beer selection, too. Might I recommend the breakfast burrito. Yummy!
