5 stars = Customer Services. The people who work there are AMAZING. By far the ones who I have encountered are accommodating and authentically kind. With that said, my food is usually on par with the customer service 5 stars but last night true disappointment. The pitas I received were cold. You maybe thinking did you order a cold pita, the answer is no. They were gyros with chicken. Two were bought. I hadnt eaten all day so I suffered my way thru but the other person couldnt do it. So I have half of a pita left from yesterday. There is no way anything was made fresh. The chicken was cold. The pita was cold. The only I expected to be cold was the lettuce and the tzatiki sauce. My food was to go and I tried to justify that maybe I took too long to pick it up. Once again no. I came to pick it up at 9:45 which was the preset pick up time. I would have expected at the very least lukewarm. Either way I would still say this is a great place. This appears to be a rare occurrence. I would chop it up to the fact they were closing soon and the cooks wanted to leave as soon as possible. Would I go back only if I dissect my food prior to leaving to ensure it had the appearance of being freshly made not thrown together from potentially left over chicken or chicken possibly made for there cold menu items.

I came here to get some homework done during my break between work and school, and have a bite to eat. I am a server myself and although Ill never make a big deal out of anything I do criticize every tiny thing out of habit. Place was quiet and staff was polite. Sat right away. My server was Rachel and she was absolutely fantastic! Very sweet girl that seemed like she was more than happy to go above and beyond for her guests.Food was awesome as ever as well! I give 5 stars, for my over all experience, however my only complaints are that it is super cold in there especially since its cold outside too, and no WiFi. Had to do my homework on my phone which was not easy. But over all I am most likely going to come back for my breaks. And maybe bring some of my co-workers by for our lunch breaks! Would be more often if the place had WiFi ;)

Its extremely poor customer service to tell a guest what they ordered and be argumentative. I wanted to split a spinach pasta salad with my vegan coworker, I ordered salmon on the side. When I came in the salmon was on the salad and the woman told me to just take it off .. Really? Because Im sure theres no juices or anything, right? Then she told me that I added the salmon to the salad without saying on the side, really? Because I knew I was splitting it with a vegan, why would I order like that? Regardless, Im the customer and there shouldnt be an argument at all ... Im upset with her attitude and response, I wont be back. The salad, as usual, was amazing. Thanks Rachel, enjoy the tip I gave you and I hope you dont lose anymore customers with your poor attitude because Pita Jungle is usually an excellent choice.

These people Freakin rock. This food is crazy good! Like the kind of food that you try and youre very pleasantly shocked at the depth of flavors youre experiencing. Amazing. And theres plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Theyll sub tofu for meat on almost anything. Things Ive had there: black bean burger (eh.... It was OK), chipotle chicken lavosh pizza subbed tofu for the chicken (aaaaaaamaaaaazingggg), jalapeño cilantro hummus (to die for), gyro (just OK... The best gyro Ive EVER had here is at Cafe Mix on Greenfield and Mckellips. YOU MUST GO THERE!!!) falafel (amazeballs) butternut squash bisque soup (soooo good!!) Lentil fetoush salad ( HUGE and delicious) micro vegetable platter (meh. Not great) falafel pita sandwich (fantastic) caramelized cauliflower side (amazeballs)

Horrible service! The person I am assuming was a waitress didnt know much about the menu, she also NEVER asked us if we were OK or needed anything else the whole time we were there!, and when I tried to ask someone else walking by they seemed annoyed we asked, we even went to the extent of calling the restaurant to get someone attention we saw the lady pick up just to quickly say please hold! She didnt place us on hold she put the phone in her pocket and walked around! Really! , we waited so long to get a refill for our drinks and our check we could have probably walked out and no one would notice. Its so hard to tell who works there no one wears uniform or same name tags. Because of the service we would NOT go again or recommend to anyone.

I typically visit here for lunch or take-out. The staff is always very upbeat and friendly. And the food never lets me down. They have a very nice patio as well if the weather permits. Ive sampled a fair bit of their menu, and if Mediterranean food is your thing, you cant go wrong here. If you look well enough, you can find things on the menu for people who dont share the same tastes. And their jalapeno cilantro hummus is delicious with whole wheat pitas. Throw some chicken in it and youve got an awesome light meal.

Seeing negative reviews for this location is so surprising. Ive been eating at pita jungle for years and love it, and will continue to eat there regardless of the service. However, this location in particular has always gone above and beyond here. I have never had anything but exceptional customer service and every employee is helpful and friendly. Whether Im ordering food to go or dining in, my experience is always wonderful at this location. Thanks to the entire team and the management here, you guys are doing great! :)

Ordered my food online at 12:06 to pick up at 1:30. Got there at 1:50 and it wasnt even made because they didnt understand my order. Although my phone number was on the order, they didnt bother to call and clarify. They literally had almost 2 whole hours to take care of the confusion. The manager just made excuses as to why it wasnt made yet and suggested a different way to order. Completely unacceptable for a to go order. My point is, dont order from here if youre in a hurry, your food wont be made when you get there!

Go to ANY restaurant and you will get food that has been prepared the day before. Ive worked at many of them and they get food SHIPPED in already prepared. Pita doesnt do this. Many close friends of mine work at Pita Jungle and I watch them make the food fresh, the only foods that are stored overnight are the bulk items that DONT go bad e.g. hummus etc.. Their manager is great and so are the kitchen staff. Trust me, they dont sell old food. I practically live off the stuff and Im very very healthy.

Ive been to this specific location twice and the food and service was wonderful. However, both times, I had the misfortune of getting food poisoning right after eating at this location. I specifically had no meat products to play it safe and still got sick. I am not sure if its the water or the food preparation or cross contimination from nearby uncocked meat or poultry, but Ive never experience any negative reactions from the Pita Jungle on 3rd St. and Roosevelt.
