This is our favorite go-to spot for tasty burgers. Its nice that theyre fast, but they are tasty. And BIG. No puny Mcburger sizes here, not even the kids ones. Antonio, the owner, could not be a friendlier businessman. The Haven Burger itself is (in my opinion) a bit over-the-top on flavor. I prefer mine with some pastrami, but not as much as they put on. I know - what a complaint! Ive not tried a huge variety of items, but my family loves the fries from here. Theyre served pretty low on salt, so thats a big plus to be able to salt them ourselves. My favorite is the fried zucchini. You get a very large order for your money, very. And the batter is like a tempura. Oh soooo yummy. Its probably a subconscious thing, wanting something you cant have, but I crave them on Monday nights and Sundays. Theyre closed then. Know that before you go. Youll be sad otherwise. Seriously, try this place out.

I ordered the Havens Melt on Sourdough combo. Combo adds fries & fountain drink for about $3. They have one of those video game drink dispensers - this time it is Pepsi branded which is cool because Im a Diet Pepsi person. One free refill is included with 50 cent refills thereafter. The fries were medium sized with a nice crunch outside and a soft potaoey inside. Ketchup squeeze bottles at each table is a welcome consideration. Also at each table were pepper & salt shakers. As I munched on the fries I was thinking four stars for an above average start to my lunch. That all changed when I bit into the Havens Melt. Im a fan of complex flavors and I was pleasantly surprised with this sandwich. Consider these tastes in each bite: flame grilled burger patty, plenty of pastrami, tang of 1000 Island & sourdough, finish of fresh chopped onions. This thing was delicious.

Being im from southern cali charbroiled grilled bugers spots are eveywhere there. Douglas burgers is a place to visit there. Here in mesa he kinda got it wrong. The hamburger I tried isnt seasoned. He was rude to us. He takes orders and rushed us. The menu could be a little more user friendly. The menu is scrunched together, seeing what is available is overwhelming. The owner is a little on the particular side. There is signs stating that restrooms are for customers only makes me wonder what kind of patrons visit his establishment. After ordering two reg combos and some bean cheese burritos for our kids, we noticed he has a sign charging for the yellow peppers (.25) that go great with our type of burgers. That kinda stuff is petty. Maybe one of the authentic spots from Cali can extend out here and show em how its done!

Took my gf here for the burgers after seeing the overall high reviews. Despite the grear reviews we did see a couple reviews about a guy named Tony yelling at people "all orders are to go". Well we walked in at 8:20pm, they close at 9pm...we walked up to the register and Tony walks over and very politely says "Youll have to do a togo orderr, is that alright?" I stated that was our intention anyway and he thanked us for coming in. While our food was cooked he made polite conversation. I dont know what the other reviews are about but ill be back for sure. Great burgers and friendly staff.

Arguably the BEST burger in Mesa!! Haven Burger, thick-cut fries, and 24oz drink combo for $4.95. WORTH the every buck as the burger is pretty wide with the bun! The meat quality is at the top 5. They grill it, not pan-fry. They done the fries just perfectly with the crisp on the outside, and yet, keep the inside SOFT enough that its not raw at all. The first bite of the burger, I had an orgasm. At almost every bite, it was like being in heaven, hence the name, Haven. I will definitely be their regular customer some time soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Been driving all around the city debating on where to have breakfast. Haven Burgers caught my attention so I decided to give it a try and to my amazement Haven is the place to go! The breakfast is AMAZING!!! Better than any other restaurant. If I had to rate the food overall I give it 5 stars! The price is perfect as well since Im a college student. Tony youre the man! (Restaurant Owner) Kindest individual Ive ever met and who took consideration on how I wanted my meal prepared. Thankyou and will be returning soon :)

So My wife and I moved to Gilbert about 2 months ago. We were looking for a good burger place we saw this place read the reviews and we were excited to try it... It was 15 minutes till closing time we walked in and some guy Tony screamed out in a rude way (EVERYTHING HAS TO BE TO GO) cuz we are closing in 15 mins.... We were planning on getting to go anyways but with that kind of additude.....Worst costumer service, just walked out..... left a bad taste in my mouth with out trying the food!!!!

In all honesty I never really write reviews about anything because I never really feel that strongly about it but Haven burger really is an amazing place the owner who is almost always at the front desk is incredibly nice incredibly talkative and will explain anything to you if you asked questions its a very small place but it makes up for it size and its food and its care. I first went there while on a break from medic school and have been back on several occassions. Definatly recommed.

Good food but getting ridiculous expensive and on top of that it seems that they count the french fries that they serve you and now you can only get one refill, nothing like when they opened more friendly and it seemed they care about their customers. Now a cheeseburger combo is $10 n it comes with like 15 frenchfries, dnt get me wrong but i been going there since they opened and they have change the prices like 4 times.

Ive been multiple times for lunch and will keep going. Its always great. Fast, delicious, fair prices, and a bigger variety of food than youd expect. I like that the kitchen is visible. The employees are helpful and super friendly. My only complaint with the experience is that the parking lot is small and crowded and people drive like maniacs around blind corners, though thats not really Haven Burgers fault. Great place!

This place is awesome. Pastrami + hamburgers = friggin amazingness. This place is priced right and the portions are HUGE! I havent completed a whole meal yet because they give you a big ol bag of fries and burger thats out of this world. If youre a fan of Greek food then you gotta try their gyros. The gyro meat is very flavorful. Ive eaten here well over 15 times and Ive never had a bad experience.

People are friendly. Food was very good. Had the Haven Burger which has pastrami on it. Fries were hot and crispy. They have a touch screen soda fountain with lots of drink options. Looking at the menu, they also serve breakfast and they have quesadillas, burritos, and more! Next time Im in Mesa I will definitely go here again. The all meat burrito will be the next thing I try.
