If your looking to dine carb friendly, Hot N Juicy is a good option. H&J is another Cajun food style restraunt. They are fairly new to the valley. My wife and I both enjoy seafood so we gave H&J a shot. She ordered the Shrimp H&J style with baby spice. As for me I had the Crawfish H&J style medium heat with sausage add-on. We also ordered the chicken wing appetizer. We had asked if the chicked wings were breaded and were told no. When we recieved them they were breaded. We just pulled the breadding off and ate them. The wings were good and cooked throughout. I didnt like that they had no seasoning on them. My wifes shrimp came out and half were good the other half were mushy. (Sign of old or refrozen shrimp.) The staff was great about it and brought out another half pound that were good. The crawfish was good as well. Well seasoned and tasty. Beware of ordering the crafish though. You are going to put in some worj if you order these mud bugs because you have to peel the armor of a shell off of it. But the taste is worth it. We liked H&J but the price was a little steep for what we got. Not a bad place at all though. I would definitely go back.

Eat at your own risk!!!! I recently ate here with my brother for lunch and we both experienced food poison from the seafood. I called to report it, but as you may already know, their phone just rings and rings and no one ever answers so I took a chance to email the manager and I actually did get a response back within about 1-3 days asking for more information and a copy of my receipt, which I sent, and I never heard back. As if they dont care that they are serving food that cause people to get sick. Ive eaten here multiple times and this time it caused me to feel terrible. The fact that they dont care says a lot about the managing team. They still charge the same prices as when they opened, but cut down on the portions, the sauce is not as thick as it used to be, it seems watered down and very thin. Bye, bye Hot & Juicy!!!! Hello Angry Crab.

I was really expecting to enjoy my first visit early afternoon Saturday. We were seated right away and drinks were served quickly. The order was simple and taken quickly. From there on everything went down hill. Two of the three sides we ordered were delivered to the table. The bread rolls were the smallest I have every seen in a restaurant and the sweet potato fries were mediocre at best. We never got the potatoes or crab we ordered. After about 30 minutes the waiter said he would check on the order then proceeded to do everything but check on the order I threw some money on the table to cover the price of the order and left thoroughly disgusted and disappointed. In retrospect I am sorry I left money on the table.

Im torn on the rating for a few reasons. The food is generally really tasty, their signature hot n juicy sauce is great on the seafood, corn, and potatoes. Yet, they have become increasingly more unorganized. I think they need more employees, because the past several times we have been given food that we did not order, drink orders didnt come out etc. It feels like youre annoying the waiter/waitress, and you only want to ask for another beverage. Also, they really hurting from not having reservations. Weve been told outrageous wait times (up to 2 hours and 30 mins) and there appeared to be a normal amount of customers inside (kind of tying back to the lack of employees).

Went here with the wife and a few friends. I ordered with sausage and some rolls. Wifey ordered shrimp with some fries and my buddy ordered shrimp with some catfish. The beer was ok, but the margarita and the lemon drop were a total waste....and I mean they werent even half finished when we left. I didnt try the catfish, but my buddy ate only one piece and threw the rest out, so I definitely didnt want to try it. The shrimp was good, but plucking the heads off and trying to get the gains out was getting tiresome. Although we did have a good time and the staff were very friendly, we wont be going back. Also, the sausage was tasty.

We had a tremendously wonderful experience, Dani was our server and we had her before when we first came in and we had a wonderful experience back then too. The service was wonderful very attentive server, the food was awesome and tasty and juicy, and the atmosphere was very nice. A little loud but I can still hear my family conversation well. We absolutely love it here. Maddie was also the team lead, she was very nice and very prompt and gave us a couple of tips as well and double checked that our experience was amazing. Thank you again!

Food is delicious but there service is absolutely horrible. Have to wait on drink refills,always forgetting to bring this or that out then when I ask its another 10 min wait and as soon as the server passes by there like "oops I forgot" and this isnt a one time thing either Ive been there 5-6 times and its always the same Ive even had to request a different server in the middle of our visit and when doing so I get that death stare from all the servers lol. If it wasnt for the great tasting food Id never be back lol

Absolutely delicious!!! Loved the concept! Dont come here if you are not expecting to get messy. We got the catfish and a half pound of shrimp in the hot n juicy medium sauce and loved it. Food came out really quickly. The shrimp was on point, and the catfish tasted just like what I used to get back home in Mississippi. If you want cajun spice Id totally recommend the place. And if youre gonna be a prude and complain about the trash bucket you put the shells in go elsewhere. This place rocked!

Dont waste time nor money at this place. Take heed at the comments. The service is simply the worst I have had in many years & certainly in Az. When our food did come out it was served one person at a time with 15 minute gaps in between. The last person would eat about 40 minutes after the first if you have just 3 people. When asked the server said its a scattered serving system so your plate may come out at any time. The Angry Crab is not far away .

Had a good birthday experience at this place. Some Lobster/crawfish suited man wanted to sing to me, but I respectfuly declined. The hot n juicy style/original flavor stuff they cook it with is quite tasty actually. Not sure it goes that well on the clams, but was fabulous on the shrimp and crab. Funny how they rarely have blue crab at this specific joint, yet its on the menu for all to see.

Food is good but service is terrible. Weve been about 4 times in the past year because my son likes the food. However, when you have to leave your seat on 4 occasions to ask your waitress for simple items like a refill or the ranch dressing you requested three times earlier then it takes away from the quality of the food. Every time its the same with customer care, they dont care.
