My family and I have been going here for 10+ years now, and they only changes to the menu have made it healthier and less greasy. Not a minus, not a plus either. I have never been disappointed by a meal from them. The chicken fajita burrito is one of my all time favorites. Something that may seem sketchy is their hamburgers, an item I would generally stay away from at a Mexican restaurant, but they pull it off so well. Highly recommended!

NOT THE BEST! still tasty. So Both times being here, I asked for avocado and sour cream. Either they never add it or they barely put what I asked for even as extra$$$. I ordered a pork burrito one time thinking it was going to be a mix of beans, rice, and cheese. (dont get the meat burritos plates. Its just literally the meat itself inside a wrapped up flour tortilla with a tiny side of rice and beans.)

Best "hole in the wall" place Ive discovered so far in the area. Ive seriously never had better tacos anywhere else and for an actual reasonable price. Its definitely in my top three favorite places to go when Im broke but want to eat out. Awesome food, great prices and the people are really friendly there too, you dont find that much anymore these days. Keep on keeping on, El Taco!

Excellent food and excellent portions at an unbeatable price. My family eats here almost once a week. The 3 of us get plenty to eat (and have leftovers!) for $25.00. Thats kind of a big deal in todays economy. Usually you have to pick between good food or a good price but not here! Love this place! Definitely wish theyd expand! :)

Being Latino I know my Mexican food.... And this is not the best or good. I make better Mexican food than they do. I always get sick from their food. I think they dont cook their meat right. And they place is dirty and the bathrooms are the worst, always get grossed out. I rather eat taco bell and that aint Mexican food.

Good food at a great price. Not the highest quality meat but thats to be expected at an affordable taco joint. They have been extremely busy the last few times Ive been there and Ive always received my food in timely manner and its always been the correct order. Give it a try if want a full belly for under $8!

I only went here because of the star rating but I regret it. This is the worst taco ive ever had & Ive had tacos from Virginia, Texas, New Mexico, Cali, you name it. It tastes like oil and the meat is way over cooked. I recommend going to Taqueria Verde it is 1000X better. Dont waste your time here.

El Taco Express is my favorite quick mexican restaurant in the area!!! They have FANTASTIC prices and great food. The 3 dollar bean and cheese burrito is almost twice the size of Burrito Boy...and now 50 cents cheaper. This is definitely a hidden gem in town!!

This is the best Mexican place in the Eugene Springfield area! Huge tacos and burritos, authentic and delicious. I highly recommend this spot! The Asada taco and fajita taco are my favorite. Enjoy!

The Oregon burrito is bomb. They also have a soda fountain with flavor shots. You can pick your own flavor shot. Strawberry Dr. Pepper is so awesome! Good food, good prices
