OK food but disappointing service and way over priced. Our server wouldnt let us sub extra guac for choosing no-meat on a burrito, my wifes vegetarian fajitas came with surprise broccoli, carrots and mushrooms. Seriously, broccoli and carrots!?! Would have been a lot better with just the peppers and onions. $18 for vegetarian fajitas with broccoli and carrots is a little ridiculous. The atmosphere was fun and the outdoor seating had a great view of Hood Canal and the support staff was very friendly but our waitress was inattentive and made herself pretty scarce. We may have had another margarita if shed popped by once in a while. Probably wont go back, the Alderbrook patio was much better.

We stopped by to have a margarita and snack on a beautiful day. The view is great from the patio and the service was outstanding. We had a chicken quesadilla which was very tasty. They gave complimentary chips with 2 kinds of salsa and some sort of pico de gallo which was very tasty also. The margaritas were large, and tasted fine, but a bit on the pricey side at $7.99 each. I would like to go back for a meal sometime as the food at the tables around us looked very good and comments I overheard were very positive. For me I will be back just to sit and enjoy the view which by itself makes it worthwhile.

Use to love this place... not sure what happened… Changed owners? Heard rumors it wasnt as good. Went yesterday… Very unfriendly waitress - Margaritas were just OK.., my sister and I ordered a taco salad. It came in a very small shell with a very tiny amount in it. It did not come with any sour cream or guacamole. When we asked for some sour cream she informed us it would be an extra order for the salad! The food is not even close to being as good and noticeably smaller portions than it use to be and yet their prices are now higher! Gave it two chances with same results... wont be going back.

Mediocre food, nice patio, fast service... at first. After getting drinks and chips and taking our order very quickly, I was enjoying the patio and ready to give this place a good review. The prices were a little higher than normal but if the food was good it would have been a great experience and worth it. When the food came out we never saw our server again, even had to pay our bill with the host. The food was subpar for Mexican food, just not great especially at a higher price I was disappointed.

It doesnt look like much from the outside but very inviting and warm inside. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The Andys platter is superb! Roasted pork shank with bacon wrapped shrimp! Yummy! Very lively on Saturday & Sunday night with all of the locals. Good salsa and mushroom pico de gallo that looks strange at first but is sooooooo good. Also try the Tres Mas platter with shrimp, chicken and carne asada. Very large menu and everything we have tried has been great.

Few diners so the service was fast. This is the single most expensive Mexican restaurant I have ever gone to. I had one Chile Rellenos, and it was so greasy it slid on the plate. Have never had a chile rellenos (sp?) that was not roasted nor had the core and seeds been removed. The only good thing for me about the meal was the company I was with. Not likely I would personally go back or recommend this place. That being said, there are many good reviews, so use your own judgement.

All I wanted was a beer. After 30 minutes sitting and waiting we never so much as got a menu. We even proactively asked for drinks to no avail. Finally just left. The only reason it gets 2 stars is for the complimentary chips and salsa, but after 30 minutes, no water, no beer...had to bail. Too many way better places in Union for happy hour. Try Robin Hood, the Union Deli, or Alderbrook Resort. Too bad, but tried too many times not to comment.

Good chips and salsa, mushroom type salsa and regular red salsa was really good. Good iced tea. Flautas pretty good. Great fried beans. Son got the Carne Sade burrito, said it was great. Wonderful service, nice music, colorful, clean. Vegetable soup is filling and awesome!

Everyone I know likes it a lot, its got good food, my sister eats there when shes on the canal. I wasnt overly impressed, when my food came it wasnt as I ordered it, which was truly disappointing for me, but the rest of the table got what they ordered.

It was SO BAD. The warm beer and cheap tequila in the mixed drink accompanied by overbrowned chips should have been a big clue that they couldnt handle entrees. I ordered chicken carnitas and all I tasted was SALT. NEVER GOING BACK.

SO gross!!!!!! Warm beer, cheap tequila in the mixed drink, over cooked chips and over-salted food. Bad headache followed. Lesson: just because it sounds good and looks pretty doesnt mean you should try it.

Sadly the food was cold. The hardboiled eggs appeared to have been shelled by a child. Everyone at the table was disappointed. Also eggs tasted bad and old, grilled chicken was bitter from charcoal.

Typical Mexican restaurant. Nice place right on the water. Offers inside and outside seating. Reasonable prices for the area. Staff is friendly. The place is old but the food was good.

Great service and amazing enchiladas, rice, and beans. Family came down here for vacation and will definitely be returning here if were in the area. Absolute must-eat.
