Warren Country Inn is that diamond in the rough. That rare gem that seems to dazzle in a world where everything around it seems to barely be able to muster up a dull shine. Warren itself is a luckluster sleepy community of churches and old farmsteads of a bygone era. Tucked in between the municipalities of Scappoose and St. Helens, it is often used as a refuge for those business owners who wish to escape the puritanical draconian restrictions imposed by a tyrannical city council in St. Helens. In this cluster of churches and marijuana haven, is the ever-present Warren Country Inn. A bastion of familiarity in a world that is changing at a rapid pace. And yet this is not the Warren Country Inn of yesteryear. Ever since it reopened, with a stylish new interior and hip staff, there is a buzz around the Inn that just was not there before. A new energy, driven by an updated menu, and exquisite eats served by consistently awesome people coupled with the feeling of acceptance and down home comfort, make this place a first-rate establishment. Every community has its go to place to dine, but are usually cold toward folks who are not regulars and locals. Not here, if you are passing through experience true Columbia County hospitality at its finest. The lounge is spacious yet cozy, with a pool table right next to the jukebox, as it should be.. and the best part? The billiards are free. The lottery games are tucked in the corner kinda givin off a vibe of privacy without the isolated feel that some establishments have. and karaoke? shut the front door! or should I say back door? (tee hee) and heres the kicker... live bands makes you feel like you are in the movie footloose, in a fun and rebellious kind of way. Warren Country Inn, you are dressed to impress! Food quality, staff, environment and overall enjoyment are all above and beyond 100 percent! Thank you for single-handedly keeping Warren cool...ish

I will start with the food was VERY good. If thats all you are after then this is the place for you. The restaurant was clean and cozy and quite honestly has great potential. The service was the worst I have experienced. We seated ourselves in the bar and sat and waited to be served...... and we waited. Another person in our party arrived and we waited some more while we watched patrons who arrived after us be waited on as well as a large party being catered to by all three wait staff on . One of our party finally went up to the bar to order a beer, he returned to the table with a picture of the beer list, could not get any help there either. At this point we should have walked out BUT we are gluttons for punishment and the pictures of the food online looked really good ! We eventually had to go get our own menus and then eventually get the waiter attention as he was going to walk past us after helping the table beside us. He took our order and after a time returned with our drinks, which he didnt get right but we dealt with it. He repeated out food order back to us which thankfully he did because he didnt have our order correct but when the food arrived it was right. We had to ask for napkins and silverware and we were not given our ticket. Our card was ran and we were overcharged. And ignored so we couldnt get it fixed.

We walked in and werent even greeted, it was Fathers Day so we continued to wait for ten minutes while they served and checked out others in front of us. FINALLY, we got seated in this hot green house looking room which I wasnt going to complain about because at this point I was starving. The hostess forgot to bring crayons for the coloring page they gave my daughter as well. We waited for another ten minutes before a waitress finally came over to get our order, it had been so long that we had given her out drink order along with our food order I had asked her to bring crayons as well. Another person dropped by our drinks several minutes later and we had asked her to bring crayons since our waitress had still not brought them. Several minutes later my fiancé got up and had to get the crayons himself and shorty after that we had received our food. The food is phenomenal. BEST country fried steak I have ever had, which is the only reason this is getting a single star. They never came To refill our drinks. We had to ask for a box, and than another ten minutes later ask for our ticket to pay.... HORRIBLE SERVICE. GREAT food. Maybe get food to go lol

So... weve been there about 5 times with varying experiences. First time we had breakfast and it was cold. Second time we had the prime rib dinner special and the food was good but again cold. The Brussels sprouts were too hard to eat so they brought new ones out but same result. The third experience was okay. Two weeks ago several items were messed up on our order and we could not find any staff anywhere for ten minutes. My husband finally got the correct item but the rest of us were nearly done with our meal. Once we got the food it was good. On Sunday we had delicious food and the best waitress to date, but they forgot to cook my husbands order all together. When he got it, the food was wonderful but again we were half way done with our meals. To be honest I believe the issues are lack of management over seeing everything until it runs smoothly on its own. We think the place has great potential which is why we keep returning.

It reopened recently, so glad we stopped in, because it ended up being the BEST meal I have had the pleasure of eating! Oh my gosh, the orange infused salmon was perfectly cooked, and the taste was phenomenal! And my sides could have held up on their own! The mac and cheese was hands down. the absolute best Ive ever had, yum! The brussel sprouts were wonderfully cooked with bacon. Then we get to the dessert, the creme brulè was perfect, and topped with what had to be a local strawberry and a little whipped cream. Really a taste delight! The place is nice and servers are anxious to please. This is why they get the highest score from me! My best eating experience!

Staff was very friendly and attentive. God tasted good although the steak was undercooked from what was ordered and the burger was ordered no tomato and came with tomato all the same. They were slammed with a large party so taking unusual circumstances into consideration this was pretty workable. The menu talks about accommodation for gluten free but the explanation was a little unclear so I ordered food that would be generally safe without modification and did well. Overall it was a good experience but not an "I cant wait to go back" spot.

The food was fantastic! I ordered the meat and gravy omelet, and it was so large I quit pretending I was going to finish it halfway through and enjoyed the other half just as much the next day. The portion size was prehistoric, so come hungry. My wife had a chicken burger that was excellent as well. Given how fantastic the food was youd think it would be expensive, but the prices were very reasonable. The service was excellent, and we couldnt have enjoyed our visit more. Id give it 6 stars if I could.
