Unfortunately, they have lost a customer due to our experience tonight. We always order to go and today was no different. My wife arrived a few minutes before me and was waiting at the counter when I got there. They have a policy that even though their specials are until 11, they stop sauté dishes at 9 (which is usually 1/2 their entrees). Thats fine because I got to the counter at 8:42. 14 minutes later, 8:56, we go to order Chicken Vodka Rigatoni and are told that they stopped making sauté entrees but "Ill check for you." So our waitress comes back out and says it is okay. So we repeat "Vodka Rigatoni with Chicken", one salad with French and a Caesar salad with extra Caeser. She says "oh, hold on Im confused by the salads." Really?! So she confirms a garden salad with French and a Caesar salad and we finish our order. We get home and guess what, both are Caesar salads with French and Caesar on the side instead of the garden salad. Then we get to the Vodka Rigatoni and NO CHICKEN! So 5 strikes: wait time, saying no more sauté even though were before the cutoff time, cant take to an order properly, wrong salad, and no chicken. Our servers name was "J.J" according to the receipt. Even though we love the amount of food they give for the price, and even though we get a 10% discount from the Hamilton West football card, we wont be coming here again for a long time, if ever.

My husband and I tried it tonight after reading all of the reviews on here. First, let me just say that we dine out at least a week at various style restaurants and diners. We were seated right away and had excellent service!! He ordered the Chicken Francaise, which came with choice of soup (he chose Beef Barley), a salad (Bleu Cheese Dressing), and a choice of two sides (he ordered French fries and potato salad). I ordered the Chicken Marsala, which came with the soup (Beef Barley), a salad (Blue Cheese Dressing), and two sides (I ordered the mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables). The soup and salad were delicious and fresh. His Chicken Francaise was very good, although the sauce could have been a little thicker. My Chicken Marsala was excellent! They even used fresh mushrooms. I wasnt a fan of the instant potatoes, but again, it is a diner. The portions were huge! We brought home enough leftovers to make another meal out of it. The total bill was $25.00?!?! I would recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a good meal at an awesome value.

I like this diner. Ive brought my wife and two little ones in here a few different Saturday mornings; for group outings after events; and a few times at 3am after band performances at one of the local watering holes. The food is always good (my fave is the denver/western omlette) and the service always prompt and friendly. My two advice offerings would be to 1) put a simple website together and 2) advertise free wi-fi. Thats what prompted this review. There was no website to find out if they have free wi-fi. When I called to ask about free wi-fi for an upcoming meeting, the gal who answered the phone didnt know. Now Im probably going to look for another local establishment to hold the meeting as I dont have time to investigate any further. Ill be back for the food some other time though.

Great typical Jersey diner! Great full menu from classics to real restaurant quality meals. Good portions + good prices+good quality=great meals. The vodka rig is prob bout the best in town, yes at a diner and in town with italian spots in every strip mall! From dinners to lunch/sandwichs, to breakfast, or late night snacks (open 24hrs) does not disappoint. The staff is experienced and it shows because service is usually very good.

Excellent food, fast and friendly staff. Adequate parking, clean restrooms and large affordable food menu. No alcohol or smoking permitted. Open 24/7. Tends to be very crowded for dinner especially on weekends. Offers take out. Excellent pastry selection. A local and historic diner. Highly recommended for large parties, birthdays and children. Family friendly. Offers very affordable and large breakfast menu.

We had a great dinner for our young family of four (8 and 5 year-olds). Entrees came with soup and salad and the kids meals (which were huge) came with a dessert. Bill came to $38 with tax. Excellent value, great selection and very friendly service. Great stop if youre in Trenton on your way to Sesame Place or Great Adventure. Only draw back, no bar, but the food overshadowed that in a hurry.

Ordered a turkey club. The turkey was spoiled. Fries smelled and tasted like spoiled meat. Worst diner experience ever. Called to complain and Niko told me he wasnt on duty at the time i ordered( an hour earlier), but i could bring the food back for a replacement. Needless to say i drove to pick up my meal on my lunch break. Couldnt leave work to drive back. I trashed the mess and wont be back.

We go frequently and order the big breakfast for 7.95. We put half of it aside to take home and have plenty left for a satisfying breakfast in the diner. Love this place!!!! It is no smoking all the time now (as is all of NJ). The staff is terrific .. servers are friendly. If youre looking for a casual, family atmosphere with good food, then go here!

The waitresses are nice at the diner but when you begin to complain about certain items like drinks . They call their manager and the manager was absolutely rude. He was only worried about how much the drink cost and the total amount that is being wasted . That was very unprofessional, and makes me not want eat here .

My husband loves this place. I think its alright. I ordered a steak today, I asked for it to be cooked well. When I received it it was charred on the outside but medium rare on the inside and very bland. I doused it in A1 sauce and still couldnt eat it. The eggs and the home fries were okay.

I asked for french toast and they gave me what looked like premade french toast like you find in the frozen food section. It was thick bread with cinnamon and egg flavoring. The people were nice but I would expect real french toast from such a popular place.

Every thing done From being seated to your order being taken to being served is done quietly and professionally. The food has always been top notch. I have been eating there for years. Do your self a faver go. The greek omelet is a must try.

I love this diner! Dinner specials cant be beat. They come with soup, salad and dessert for a reasonable price. Tuesdays they have Stuffed Cabbage (just like my Grandmoms) and Sundays the Crabcakes are delicious!

Food is large portioned but drab and tasteless. Menu is the same as 10 years ago. Food just needs seasoning or updated. I only eat breakfast food there now. But, they cant even get the eggs done right.
