We came here after spending Mothers Day at Grounds for Sculpture. We wanted a quick bite to eat prior to driving 45 minutes home. This is the perfect location as its located just before 295 South (our exit toward home). Our waiter, Chris, was phenomenal as was the person training him. My sister, being vegetarian, is quite picky as to what she eats. My son who always orders the same thing (chicken fingers and french fries) and normally doesnt eat, really enjoyed his meal. My mom (on a diet) ordered mixed fruit. All of the fruit (bananas, strawberries, and blueberries) were fresh. My son tried the strawberries and said, "Oh my God! Can I have a cup of strawberries and blueberries, too?" My mom offered to share but he wanted his own. My father and I had turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, and soup. Everything was so good. We didnt have room for dessert. But I am sure that must have been spectacular, too. Originally, my father was not happy when I chose Hamilton Family Diner while driving. He said an empty diner means the food is terrible. He wasnt complaining once he tried his food. While chit chatting with the waiters, we found out this place just opened on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Give it a try. It may not look like much from the outside. But it is definitely worth the try! Th staff is great. And the food is outstanding! We will be sure to stop in again when visiting Grounds for Sculpture. We wish the owners and employees much success.

Tonights dinner certainly called for an immediate review upon return! Although well known (and packed) for breakfast & lunch, the dinner tonight was to die for. You MUST try the chicken kabob special - tender marinated chicken over buttery rice with seriously tender green peppers and a baked tomato with feta. Did I mention that the portobellos melt in your mouth (how they do it, I dont even know). Our normal watress, Julie, is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about the food. A++

We never got serve our food although we were the first Patron in I guess they just dont like black people in their restaurant so I offered to pay for my sodas and just wanted to leave I am a single black mother with 3 kids at the age of 10 8 and 2 and did not enjoy being ignored by the waitstaff and never was offered apology for the length of time that it took for the waitress to even acknowledge us and take our orders I completely would not recommend this restaurant to anybody

Good local joint. This place just opened two weeks ago. I came here expecting the worst, and was pleasantly surprised. I got an omelette, my wife got an omelette. Both were delicious. Nice portion, nice crispy home fries, nice thick buttered toast. I would definitely come back. If youre looking for a good breakfast, I would come here.

I worked for people who owned this, they worked me 80 hours a week for months and never paid me, and told me to tell unemployment that all the other employees were stealing. Then fired me on that same premise. Do not visit.

Ordered pasta and the ricotta was sour, have a mild case of food poisoning now. But very nice people they gave us a 20% discount and didnt charge for the new food I ordered.

Ok place to stop by. Large parking lot. Service is good. But the food was undercooked. And that wasnt just me. Other couple there complained about the same thing.

Love it!!! This is our favorite restaurant for everyday meals. The best kept secret Hamilton. Good prices, tasty food, nice crew. Doesnt serve alcohol.
