Horrendous. Notice all of the reviews talk about how friendly the servers are and not really how glorious the food is... there is a reason. The atmosphere was beautiful but you could tell the usual clientele by the way they got along with the waiters. There was a slight language barrier and it was easy to see that the servers preferred to avoid speaking which is not a quality a waiter should have. In terms of the food: 1. The bread brought to our table was moldy 2. Our server nor the menu told us what the entrees came with [even when asked] - it turns out every dish comes with soup [nothing spectacular and quite bland], homemade chips [something anyone can make so not very impressive] and rice [VERY bland]. 3. The appetizer we ordered was never brought to us and the waiter didnt even notice! We had to tell him at which point he apologized and walked away never to address the topic again. 4. On to our entrees... bland and flavorless to say the least. My husband had a veal dish and I had a chicken dish neither of which we could tolerate to eat. It was gross, oily and lacked the flavor that Spanish food is supposed to have. Needless to say if you would like a Spanish meal you can eat go to Hudson County because this place was not worth what they charged.

The food keeps getting better each time we go. Our meals have been perfect. After you order, you are served a hot bowl of soup of the day that is always tasty along with Portuguese rolls and butter. For appetizers we like the Chorizos Espanoles (Grilled Spanish Sausages) or the Camarones al Ajillo (Shrimp sautéed with olive oil, garlic and spices) the portions are generous and enough for 2 to share. Save a roll for dipping in the oil. For Entree we like the Paella Valenciana (1/2 Lobster, Clams, Sea Scallops, Mussels, Shrimp, Chicken & Sausages with Spanish Saffron Rice) and all of the Veal Dishes are really good. And of course Flan for dessert. The staff is really friendly and work really hard to making your meal as good as it can be. Try it youll like it.

EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT service! The owner Sergio makes sure every customer is delighted personally. We recently had our sons graduation party there and while our entire party had arrived, we were stuck in Flemington due to a truck fire that had 202 shut down. Sergio and his staff took care of our guests, got them all seated and started on the fantastic soup and appetizers. When we finally arrived 40 mins late everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. We brought our own cake, it was beautifully presented and served with smiles. Everyone took home doggy bags because every plate is enough for 2 or 3 meals. Go to Spain 92 one time and its guaranteed youll go back. Thank you Spain 92 for wonderful evening!

Go to the Ironbound section to get good Spanish food. This place needs to learn how to cook Spanish cuisine! Beautiful exterior hides the inner problem! Rice was cold. I ask the waiter to heat the two rolls he brought, he microwaved them! Clams casino full of bacon and the stuffed mushrooms were luke warm and tasteless. Chicken 92 a chicken & shrimp dish was fair, but not prepared as I ordered. Waiter was old and seemed rushed. I guess for the locals, the only game in town, but at times its best to go to games a distance away! Could have been special, instead very very ordinary at best!

Disappointing valentines day. I got to pick the restaurant and this was the place I wanted to go. We brought our 11 month old daughter who is great in restaurants. The host nor any server brought us a high chair until 15 minutes after asking. It took another 10 minutes to get the sour puss waiter to take our order which was Filet Mignon and stuffed shrimp. The food was cold when it came out, obviously frozen meals. The filet tasted like Hungry man salsbary steak. Grossly disappointed. Prices were $30+ a plate and service was pitiful.

We tend to go here for special occasions. They serve good to great food and usually its not too crowded for lunch on the weekends. We will usually get the chorizo and the calamari for apatizers, and they usually disappear quite quickly. The chorizo doesnt quite have the spiciness that I prefer, but its still good nonetheless. Typically well get a paella, a shrimp dish, and a chicken and sausage dish. Everyone enjoys their food, even the kids who because of a lack of a childrens menu are forced to eat the chicken and sausage rice.

This restaurant is as bad as they come. And believe me in my 75 years Ive eaten at some bad ones. The ordered calamari appetizer was terrible. Thankfully the portion was small. I left the fried cardboard uneaten and complained to the waiter. He did not respond. The shrimp were OK but the lobster tails were gummy-rubbery. I was so disappointed that I did not stay for dessert or coffee. Avoid this place, go elsewhere, it cant be this bad.

Waiter was excellent, ambiance very nice, but thats were it ends. Ordered steak and lobster, filet mignon ordered medium well....came out medium rare ...and was still tough and chewy, lobster tail was dry and over cooked, I literally had to use two hands to pull it out the shell.,...I dont recommend this place, in all honesty Ive had much better experience at ...you guessed it....."Red Lobster "

One of my favorite places to go out to eat. The filet mignon is outstanding and the rack of lamb - wow. Loved the pulpo, and the garlic shrimp appetizer. Fastino wine with the meal - what can you say. Sergio met us when we arrived and wanted to hear any feedback we had - which was all good. The atmosphere - amazing moor style building, personal touches everywhere. Highly recommend.

Love the food, and have never been disappointed in 6 visits. Service is inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes we have to ask for our waiter each time we need to move to the next phase of the meal. One odd policy weve run into: If you have a gift certificate, they wont honor any coupons with it, even though the gift certificate is supposed to be as used just like cash would.

This restaurant was wonderful. We went with a large party and the service was wonderful. The food was delicious with good variety and selection. The interior of the restaurant was decorated nicely with beautiful Spanish tiles. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and will be returning soon. We had a wonderful night.
