Idk what these other people are talking about. When we walked in, what appeared to be a homeless panhandler asked us if we were drinking. I didnt know if the guy wanted money for drinks or what but it turn out that he is the "bouncer." Oh btw he is sitting at the bar by us doing shots with his buddy. We sat down and the manager took our order. The appetizer came out quick but tasted like blah (mozzarella sticks). After waiting an eternity my fish and chips came out. Coleslaw was ok, fries ok, fish not so much. 90% breading, 10% crumbly fish. Still waiting on my co workers pretzels and ranch. Im done eating and we are both out of water. thinking about asking for the check in case they need to make the paper to print it on. Wont ever be back.............I wish I could post pictures on here.

For a Waltham sports bar, Playmakers is pretty good. They have nightly specials on food, and I have been pretty impressed with the $3 chicken quesadillas, which are pretty cheesy with a bit of chicken mixed in. The bar can get pretty busy at times, with a younger fun crowd. They offer very cheap pitchers of beer and if you are in Waltham for a game I would recommend stopping in here.

Playmakers is the best! Great staff, great management. The food is great for bar food and otherwise. Try the steak tips or chipotle chicken sandwich. Nachos and pulled pork sandwich are great too. Good beers on tap. Open and light atmosphere. 15+ tvs, will put on what you want. Very neighborhoody and welcoming. Definitely go!

Ive only been here twice. Both times have been in the afternoon. I thought the food was good. Very fresh tasting. What has made the experience the best is Wade the bartender. Great Manhattan and very personable.

The food was mediocre at best. Overpriced for its quality. The wait staff seemed a bit trashy and were hanging off of people at bar or smoking in between waiting on our table. I wont be going back.
