Worst Chinese food in Danvers. Not sure how they are even open? Food was disgusting, rice way over cooked and like it had been sitting for a while, General Gao was over-cooked and chewy to the point we had to spit it out. Chicken fingers for sweet and sour chicken were half-burnt, and the inside looked like theyd been cooked and refrozen and re-cooked. When called to alert that it was bad,was greeted with nasty attitude from the employee. Then she told me that they fried the chicken fingers that morning. MORNING?! Our order went in at 9:30 that night! So, my chicken was fried, then refrigerated all day? Was it refrozen, or old to begin with? Tasted like it. Then she tried to tell me it was fried when we ordered after I repeated her original statement. They made us drive back to refund our card, which is bad enough but okay, well bring the food back. The employee found it funny that we were unsatisfied I guess because she laughed when she told us the rice wasnt overcooked. Rude employees, nasty food...not going there ever again.

Happy Garden is surprisingly good hole in the wall restaurant. While it lacks the space and decor of say New Hong Kong, the food is consistently better. There is a dine in area, which is relatively small, but perfect for going in for their lunch specials.

It was ready when we got there, packed well and hot when we got home! The food was delicious!! Weve had Chinese food from many area restaurants as well as in Boston, NY etc and this ranks right u there! Try it out!
