If youre looking for a decent cafeteria style meal, with half of a rotisserie chicken and side dishes all for around $7.00-$10.00 as of about March 2009, Boston Market fills the bill. The chicken is properly rotisserie cooked and the spices and glazing are worthy. My experience has been that the stewed vegetables might have been stewing for far too long, but thats what you get when you drop in after dinner to a place that really specializes in a long lunch. I have heard unverified rumors that police officers and their families get half-price, which certainly would explain the large number of officers that patronize the place. Or perhaps its just that the food is good, a person knows what to expect, and its got a family atmosphere that definitely caters more to the mature set than to the teen crowd. Kids with parents or escorts are always welcome, of course.

I have enjoyed Boston Market chicken for at least 20 years until yesterday (10/11). I bought a whole chicken and 3 sides, and was greatly disappointed. The chicken was tasteless as never before. It did not have that delicious well seasoned and fresh taste it has had all of these years. I dont know whether the seasonings have been changed or that it just was not fresh, but I could not eat it. I dont plan to try it any more. I have shopped at the Aspen Hill branch for the last ten years since I live nearby. What a loss.

I bought a salad bowl in this place it was horrible, they give ma and old lettuce, only 3 pecies of black bean and corn,the cheese were old and smells bad,the dressing taste like been expired, very bad salad,I wont recommend there salad....

The line staff moves slowly, food cold by time youre seated. Given plastic utensils, the sides have spills from staff dropping in other bins. Cornbread buried under sides.
