Very convenient for us folks in the Ballton/Virgina Square area. Over-priced, though: like, about $6 for a smoothie thats pretty good, but nothing that special. I can go there for a light dinner for 3 at this, generally, takeout place--they do have a small eating area, though--and easily last down $45. Hmm. The thing that really bothers me, though, is that I once went there with my 11-year-old--we ate there--and he seemed in a huge rush to get out--"Mama, PLEASE, lets go NOW." Because he wasnt eager to point out the issue, I got with it and listened more closely to the loud hip-hop playing, all about f***ing b****es and about how we b***es like some abuse, and worse. I complained [bizarrely nicely]--but Ive still heard that rubbish there since then. I go for takeout--without my kiddos--mostly because foods decent, and its super convenient.

Well I guess dont order delivery service from here because they will just not show up. I use to manage a tropical smoothie and while the product is good, the service here is terrible. After calling 1.5 hours after my food was supposed to be delivered they screened my calls and wouldnt answer. Unreal. Whats the point of delivery service if you wont delivery? Terrible attitude, terrible staff.

Good, swift, friendly service. Also clean inside. My only issue is the new "Loaded spinach salad"....theres a load of spinach yes...but be weary of the canned peaches, fake bacon, and sugary vinaigrette dressing.....it took away the health factor...oh yea theres dried cranberries and candies pecans too.

The service is fast making this a great place for a quick lunch. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. The prices are a tad high but worth it considering the food is delicious. There are tons of smoothies - all low calorie, with the usually selection of additives.

Great service. Reward system for this franchise that showcases free smoothies after a certain amount of checkins. Avocalada is the best! Plenty of seating space. Serves food...but not sure how much I trust food from a smoothie place.

Ordered $20 worth of food from this place. Driver "forgot my chips" and told me he would "bring them next time for free" - as in next time I ordered. Called to complain and nobody answered their phone. Incompetent idiots. Stay away.

Tropical Smoothie in general is pretty good, but this one in particular has the nutritional info for all of their food, including the seasonal specials, posted on a wall. Thats a huge help. I wish more places did the same.

Very pricey but you get a pretty big smoothie. My only complaint is you pick from a menu rather than asking for exactly what you want. Some of the flavors are a bit weird.
