We got take out. Service was curt and prompt. They were super efficient for take out, so I was feeling optimistic. Bummer, this is like the Burger King of Chinese food. Everything that we ordered lacked any hint of finesse, not to mention flavor. It was all just bland and salty. Oh well. Here was what our review is based on: Moo shu pork - ok. A little chunkier than traditional. Flavor ok but a bit bland. Pancakes standard Kung pao chicken - super bland. Gravy tasted like thickened chicken stock and food had no dimension. Super 1 note. Egg roll - way too heavy. Super thick, greasy rice paper and filling was bland and uninteresting. Crab Rangoon - awful. Super big, wanton way to thick and greasy. Stuffed with 1/4 cup of flavorless cream cheese. Nary a hint of crab to be found. Will not be returning. Way Better Chinese exists!!

Ive lived about 3 blocks away fror 23 years and never tried the place! I have been missing out on basic, well executed Chinese food. Their lunch specials are quick and a great deal $5-7. I usually get some type of sweet and sour either pork or shrimp and it the batter is very crispy and delicious. They serve plenty of sweet and sour sauce on the side and is very tasty. The fried rice is moist and very well seasoned unlike most places it is dry and bland. The egg rolls are crispy and hot. The soup is ok, compliments the meal well. The only complaint is I have is the decor, which is why i will not dine in. There are papers on the wall and to go cartons on a fold up table next to the dining room. Other than that i give this place 5 stars, please fix the decor and I will dine in.

Service was fine, but it was one of the worst meals of my life. My girlfriend ordered beef and broccoli and I ordered shrimp lo mein. She took a bite and said the beef tasted funny. In shock I took a bite as well to discover it was mushy, flavorless, and thin. I dont even think it was beef at all. It was just this thin mushy piece of flavorless "meat". My shrimp lo mein was overloaded with vegetables and there was a lack of any flavor. It was very plain and not enjoyable at all. Luckily the shrimp were real shrimp. I see other people leaving 5 star reviews but I am confused as to why. This area of Chicagoland seems to be lacking good Asian restaurants.

people rateing this place less than 5 stars must be those type of customers that complain everywhere even tho the food is great and service was the same.. you will never please those.. take a chance the chicken fried rice is the best ive had same with the general tuso chicken.. AMAZING!!! YOU WILL BE BACK FOR MORE. Best place and ive had chinease everywhere in il..

I eat here at least once a week, and much prefer their food over a nearby Chinese restaurant with a much bigger reputation. Ive been eating here since they opened over fifteen years ago. Service normally excellent, unless you manage to arrive just after a large party has just put in their (large) order.

This restaurant is FILTHY!!! I took my grandchildren here, we sat down and I went to the restroom. The restroom was filthy, and my grandchildren refused to eat here. They may have the best food in the world, but if the restroom and dining room are filthy, imagine what the kitchen looks like.

The food is really good and my family and I have been coming here for years. The only thing keeping it from five stars is that once my aunt came here and a spider crawled out of her straw when she was about to take a sip; Im not joking. That was our only negative experience.

Still has some of the best "American-ized" chinese food in existence, notably their Lemon Chicken, which is a page out of gods cookbook. Im not kidding, its the single best entree Ive ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant. Portions are large and weve never gone home hungry.

Absolutely delish. The chicken fried rice and Mongolian Beef are pretty darn good.. was hesitant at first, but yet again another lesson about not judging a book by its cover. Will return Many ,many times

The food is great, this must be the best Chinese restuarant in the Chicago area. The restautant is open seven days a week, not five as stated. The restuarant is open Friday and Saturday to 10:00 pm

Solid Chinese offerings, typical menu. Food is good but often a bit skimpy on the meat. Quick service and decent sized seating area.
