Wife had the lemon poppy seed pancakes and loved them. I had the breakfast poutine and cafe potatoes on the side. The potatoes were some of the best Ive ever had! But the poutine fell so flat I felt bad for whoever cooked it. The "gravy" was extremely heavy on the chipotle flavor. With the taste and consistency of Mexican chili. The avocado cream that i anticipated turned out to just be a sliced avocaod on top.The poached eggs were both overcooked and barely ran at all. And to top off this mess were what I can only imagine were fried cheese curds! Not deep fried just melted in a pan. Disappointing, I expect fresh whole cheeded curds on any poutine. Wish I had gotten the fritters instead.

A very unpleasent experience. The menus had jelly on it. It took them very long to bring us standard drinks and much longer for a simple breakfast like scrambled eggs with bacon. The English muffin was toasted but cold by the time we got it. Fruit was clearly cut on a board onions had been cut before and even had some pieces of spicy salsa in it. All in all very disappointing.

This place is great! We ate in the courtyard which is cozy and lush. Starting the morning with their bloody Mary was a great idea, since it was one of the best I have ever had. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. Thanks to another review we ordered a side of the corned beef and hash which was the best, but expect it to be greasy in a good way. We will be back!

Their brunch is ok and streamlined. I love this location, it could be an amazing venue especially outside, but the service is so so SO poor. We never even got napkins. You have to wait hours on the service. They dont even ask you want another drink or refill, their servers are so unaware. Better training and this place would actually be worth the money.

Seating is tight and limited, but the food and service are excellent.The country potatoes were just average, but my sausage/egg/cheese muffin was massive and tasty. My wife greatly enjoyed her meal I think it was eggs and salmon.Servers are friendly and attentive.If you like local, hole-in-wall places with great food, you must try Joanies!

Chef Danny is amazing! You can sit and watch while he cooks everyones food. Its entertaining and delicious. Prices are exactly what they should be. The feel of the entire place is perfect for anyone. They also have outdoor seating on the patio which is beautiful and relaxing. I recommend this cafe to everyone that appreciates good food.

Please please please bring back your lemon poppyseed pancakes...why you would ever take them off your menu is beyond me! I came here today for them specifically and they were replaced by pumpkin. very disappointed :(. Other than that I do always enjoy the Plaza.

Delicious, fantastic, perfect Eggs Benedict, nicely spiced sausage, and the coffee was pretty great too. Prices are reasonable, decor is nicely art deco, wait wasnt too long for a Sunday brunch without a reservation. Absolutely worth a stop.

The Plaza has some great breakfast and lunch! The French toast is pretty tasty. The club sandwich is also superb and expertly crafted. Each piece of lettuce and bacon was expertly placed. Would definitely go back!

Awesome spot with a cool outdoor seating area. You can go here in gym shorts and a tshirt or dress nice to have yourself a bougey brunch. Prices are fair and food quality is excellent.

Great place for breakfast or brunch in the city. Get there early though. It is fairly small with not that many tables for larger groups. Definitely get the chive hash browns.

Took 10 minutes to be sat. 3 waitresses walked by us without saying a word. Nobody apologized ever. Another 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. Good food.
